    Just found out Pops has a touch of pneumonia...

    They're hoping a massive dose of antibiotics will knock it out...

    Just had Radiation Thursday, & outside of a bit if discomfort in his jaw, that went well... Starts Chemo again, week after next now.

    I wish I could, but I can barely afford proper veterinary care for the one I have.

    I really MISS kittens, their charms are the main reasons my mother became the "cat lady" in my neighborhood, and I was glad to help her, until we ended up with far too many to take care of properly

    My truck's about 2/3 full, for what I'm bringing upstate this round.

    Likely be 3 weeks or so, until I get things sorted, & can bring my wife, the FurBabies, & the rest of our **** up.

    LOL, outside of finishing a commitment in the first year of our marriage, for a conviction a year prior to getting married, this will be the longest time we've spent apart.

    2 more days.

    I'm sure that is quite normal given the circumstances. I'm sure it won't be so bad. You will at least get to spend some time with your father. I don't think it's ever too late to mend those bridges.

    Part of my guilt of course, is due to my pops memory not being good now, with tge cancer in his brain.

    I remember, but HE does not...

    **** tomorrow.

    Got here about an hour ago.

    What I was led to believe, through omission, that pops was WELL enough to come home a week early, turned out not-so-much.

    His positives level is just 3 now, out of like 6 or 8 I believe it was... It's Hospice.

    He has decided against further chemo.

    The prognosis is 2 months.

    I'm gutted.
