Anytime I am camping I always shake out my boots and then check them with my hands before I put them on. Ticks are actually the most dangerous outdoor bugs in the USA because they bite more people than any others do and because they carry Limes and also Rocky Mountain fevers. That's why I hate ticks the most. Odds are I will get bitten on a finger though.
The creepiest bug is the FBI bug. Bed bugs that were once eradicated from America before political correctness and open borders and allowing people from shithole countries into America comes in as # 2. These little bugs are quickly finding themselves homeless. The infamous Pubic Crab requires a home of a hairy pubic area.
Bed bugs Lice Scorpians Wasps My greatest fears. Tore my entire bed room apart once thinking I had bed bugs...every piece of furnature dismantledlooking for the critters. Turned out what was biting me was tic nymphs that stuck to my clothes from outside. Tic babies can infest your house.
1-bed bugs!...the thought of something waiting for me to fall asleep in the dark before attacking is unnerving...vampires! 2-centipedes, fast, mean and they bite...at least there are no giant ones here 3-spiders, icky and they will bite but not nearly nasty as centipedes, we have black widows but I've never seen one 4-bot flies, the ones we have here attack cattle but not people or so I've been told.. for some reason the zebra jumping spiders on my deck don't bother me, kinda cool and fun to play with, I chase them with my finger...
Now see Tarantulas are actually awesome though. That's the difference. Still not as cool as jumping spiders though. If they were a little bigger, I think they'd make great pets. Full of personality those little guys, especially as bugs go... but yeah, Tarantulas are pretty cool too. -Meta
Black widows and leeches are pretty damn creepy. Don't care for ticks and scorpions much either. The Hobo spider is pretty nasty. When it bites it's venom causes necrosis of tissue. Untreated, this can become very serious.
Yeah... I didn't put wasps on my list either, but still... did you not see that video with the Hornworm?...
I just watched it. Wasp aren't creepy or scary unless you are allergic to a wasp sting but they are a pain in the butt when they are around.
Go wasp. I'd much rather have wasps in my garden than hornworms. Unless I disturb their nests, the wasps will leave me alone (and hopefully kill hornworms). Hornworms eat up my tomato plants.
Yup, jumping spiders in general are definitely the best spider. Maybe even the best bug! Who else is cool enough to wear a raindrop as a hat? -Meta
then there the ones I don't like goldenrod spiders they eat bees and can change colour from white to yellow depending on the flower.
House Centipede, my #1 However, it should be noted that they hunt spiders, including widows, hobos and recluses. Being non-poisenous themselves, they're good to have around. But they're so creepy!!! They're super fast, they're huge (i've seen over 2" long) and they can actually squeal when you kill them (I don't anymore).
