It is pretty simple, we have had wave after wave of automation and technological advancements.
Guns over bows and arrows
The lever over brute strength
The automobile and airplane
The backhoe replacing ditch diggers
We have survived 11 different waves in all of technological advancement, yet here we are now with a close to 9 billion humans on the planet and still going.
We will soon have a nuclear war or a laboratory disease that will wipe out 70% of humanity. We will then be back to square one.
