Had a very nice encounter today with Portland Oregon Police Bureau. A freind asked me to drive to D.E.Q. So tags were expired, I forgot about that small detail, then flashing red & blues in the rear view mirror, two Police Officers walked over, I promptly I.D. as Retired LEO, And handed credentials & Drivers license to the P.O. all very nice and professional, the new enhanced system notified them I was authorized to a sidearm so no surprises there. It was all very pleasant and professional courtesy, no well deserved citation for expired tags, seriously, I need to check those details ! Next time !!!!- No shooting lol ! Even though they knew I was Armed to the teeth ! Rawrr...... lol One LEO was hawt !!!
