'Reclaim Australia' Rallies Against Sharia Law, Halal 'Tax'

unfortunately for some, those events 300 years ago still have strong resonance today. in zimbabwe and south afrika for example, all of the fertile land was stolen by the whites. whites in south afrika, a tiny, tiny minority, own 80% of the land in south afrika. so yes, it is so ironic that whites cry about invasions when you still are raping a continent (afrika) of its wealth.

 

Africa? When did the US colonize Africa? Never. Germany, yes, England, yes, the USA, no. The US did send $Billions to fight AIDS and ebola, and many Americans volunteer go to Africa to build and educate. You can make a case over the way American Indians are being treated, but not over Africa.

 

when was this thread about america? this is about australia and by extension, european colonialism and the absurdity of those same colonialists whining and crying about karma, ie being colonized themselves. if you want to talk about america in contemporary afrika then fine, we can do that in another thread. iwould love to hear about you future propsals and what you think you can do to encourage the growth of the continent and id be all ears and eyes but that is a very big and different topic. we could surmise the perceived threat of islam there but itruly believe thats another topic because here this is about islam in your realm, what it means to you and not what you allege would be best for afrika, its not even clear where your integrity lies there even, which would be something that would need to be assessed.

Reading between the lines, this thread is really about "foreigners" overtaking culture and "natives" being driven into the shadows.

 

I didn't put anything in the OP and am I responsible for explaining everything any poster here might not understand? Anyway, a quick search got me this link . Hope it helps, but my impression has always been is that it's simply a fee paid to Muslim groups who make sure certain foods are prepared according to their religious beliefs. The problem with this tax is that any food store wanting to serve Muslims will make sure their food is halal certified, even the Buffalo hot wings, which you might want but dont care if it's certified, but you still have to pay the tax.

It isn't a tax, it is a marketing technique by some people to get Muslim customers. This is another riff on the idea that Jews collect a tax for kosher foods. So we can assume the entire thread is just bigoted nonsense. Thanks.
