I would be fine with a PREFERENCE going towards opposite sex couples but that’s not what is happening here. Gay couples are barred from the process entirely. Some of them go as far as to bar non-religious families.

And until there is psychological data that unequivocally shows opposite sex couples are predominantly “better”, they shouldn’t even be given a preference.

Obama's "church" was Liberation Theology which is a Marxist movement started by a priest in Latin America in the 1960s. Such people in the Catholic Church were rightly excommunicated.
