No, they were kicked out. There was no way they would have willingly gave up the natural resources of Africa and the wealth that went with it. Africa was and is a very rich continent.

There is a substance called coltan that is used in computers, cell phones, laptops etc. Coltan is a natural resource of Democratic Republic of Congo. You would think the people of this African country would be very wealthy with all the cell phones, computers etc. in the world. But, they aren't. The people live in extreme poverty as they work hard to harvest the coltan. Even little children work in the mines.
The reason why: the rulers of Democratic Republic of Congo are in cahoots with the big multinational companies. The rulers and the multinationals are getting rich and the people suffer.

Here are several inconvenient facts for you: 1), the Whites broke no laws when they held Blacks in chattel slavery, nor was it an unheard of practice worldwide; 2), none of the blacks claiming reparations now were slaves then, nor did all the Blacks who would claim reparations have slave ancestors, being recent immigrants from Africa; 3), many Whites have no slave holding ancestors; and 4), what are you going to do about Black freemen?
