How do you explain the Democrat party's history of racism and violence against American citizens?

Every time you remind us of past atrocities even among Democrats, you admit that Trump is racist. Struggling with irrationality.

    Ancient History?

Speaking of ancient history, did anybody see Mitchy the Kid COMPLETELY bail on the question about if the situation was pointed at his immigrant wife?? Classic non answer... I actually did laugh when I saw this...

    SNIP
Asked if he would consider it a racist attack if someone told his wife Elaine Chao — who is the US Secretary of Transportation and an immigrant and naturalized US citizen — to go back to her own country, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell sidestepped the question and talked about his support for legal immigration.

"The Secretary of Transportation came here at the age of 8 not speaking a word of English, and has recognized the American dream. This is a process of renewal that's gone on in this country for a very long time, and it's good for America. We ought to continue it," he told reporters.

"As I said, the legal immigration has been a fulfilling of the American dream. The new people who come here have a lot of ambition, a lot of energy, tend to do very well and invigorate our country. My wife is a good example of that."

Wow... swing and a miss....actually smart of him to NOT answer that accurately, since Trumpy wouldn't like it...

    You avoided the question.
    I'll ask again:
Why should Trump not be defended from and against false accusations of racism?

those past atrocities are the party you are today. You founded the KKK and they are still Democrats, despite those who lie about it.

Trump is not racist. In fact, he is less racist than Obama was. Democrats have nothing but the race card to play at this point. Once that fails, they will be back to Russia and then back to racism. Endless cycle of hate and Un-American beliefs.

Why did Democrats raise a Mexican flag over a gov't building? Love of country? lol

Not so much. Many Democrats, such as ANTIFA members, are as intolerant as those that founded the KKK. Maybe more-so.

You are not presenting your argument to George Conway. Remember this?:

"No, I thought, President Trump was boorish, dim-witted, inarticulate, incoherent, narcissistic and insensitive. He’s a pathetic bully but an equal-opportunity bully — in his uniquely crass and crude manner, he’ll attack anyone he thinks is critical of him. No matter how much I found him ultimately unfit, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt about being a racist. No matter how much I came to dislike him, I didn’t want to think that the president of the United States is a racial bigot.

But Sunday left no doubt. Naivete, resentment and outright racism, roiled in a toxic mix, have given us a racist president. Trump could have used vile slurs, including the vilest of them all, and the intent and effect would have been no less clear. Telling four non-white members of Congress — American citizens all, three natural-born — to “go back” to the “countries” they “originally came from”? That’s racist to the core. It doesn’t matter what these representatives are for or against — and there’s plenty to criticize them for — it’s beyond the bounds of human decency. For anyone, not least a president."

    Please stay focused.

    I did:

Looks like -someone- doesn't know that "racism" is.
Hint: It's -not- being critical of a person or people of color.
In his defense, this misconception is common.

All you are suggesting is the semantic difference over the word, 'racism'. George Conway is addressing Trump's intent. Demagoguery

    My "suggestion" is plain:
Neither Conway, nor the Democrats in general, nor you, have any idea what "racism" means.
Hint: It's -not- being critical of a person or people of color.

Says you. But other Republicans disagree with your definition. How about providing links to help us understand how you arrive at your conclusions?

He doesn't know what racism is and it appears you don't either if you agree with him. Besides, who really cares what he thinks?

Why do Democrats of color play the race card against Nancy Pelosi?

ANTIFA has no valid purpose. They are Fascists who seek out violent emcounters.

No. Says anyone who looks up "racism" in the dictionary.

    Definition of racism
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism

a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/racism

Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
    https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/racism

    Now then:
    - Cite the text of Trumps supposedly racist tweets/statements
    - Demonstrate how those tweets/statements meet the definition of racism, above

OK, you think that other Republicans don't "know what racism is". So it merely is an opinion. Not surprised that you don't care what Conway/ George Will/ David Brooks/ John Kasich/ Mitt Romney/ Susan Collins/ etc think.

So you think that George Conway doesn't understand the word, racism?

No. I think Conway is an idiot and hates Trump so he calls him vile names.

Cite Trump's racist tweets or statements. Are you unable to think for yourself or do you follow like minded people around parroting what they say, regardless if it has any merit?

I'm sorry you don't like the fact you choose to not understand the definition of racism, but there's nothing I can do about it.

On the contrary, discourse is informed by knowledge/ logic/ credibility. Conway graduated from Harvard & Yale. Do you go to a mechanic for health care?

How does Conway's law degree make him an expert on racism?
