Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) said Wednesday morning he believes Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, is a “relevant witness” in the Senate’s impeachment trial.

“I think so, I really do. I don’t have a problem there because this is why we are where we are,” Manchin said when asked on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” if Hunter Biden is a relevant witness.

“Now I think he can clear himself, what I know and what I’ve heard, but being afraid to put anyone that might have pertinent information is wrong, no matter if you’re a Democrat or a Republican.

if there was, Trump would have had our FBI investigate it rather then have Ukraine 'announce' a fake investigation

if you think Biden did something wrong, investigate him, call witness and docs in his own trial

neither biden know any more than you or I about what Trump did, they have no relevance in the trial

I think the AP erred on one point. As I recall HRC won that district by 4 points in 2016.

The DP is cruising for a real electoral bruising. Hence all the efforts to fix elections for crooked establishment Democrats.

 

You may be right, but I will have to see Republicans aggressively expose DP felons to believe they have it in them. There are Republican Senators running all the committees in the Senate. They could have been holding hearings and issuing subpoenas for all these Deep State crooks for years now.

The President's lawyers seem to be very competent, but I am not familiar with their trial experience.
A seasoned prosecutor with a long record of conducting very effective cross examinations of felons is what will be needed - not an academic.
