I wouldn't characterize it as "democracy", freedom loving human beings for sure though.

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner.

the only thing democratic about this country are elections for 'some' gubmint agents, and congress we never get to vote on any of the laws they pass, not that a republic with roman style senate that seperates us from participation because we have what amounts to attorneys that supposedly read our minds and represent our interests, well we can see how well that worked out.

There's nothing democratic about that either. Those agents are hand picked by those in real positions of power. Any candidate not hand picked is instantly marginalized by the puppet MSM who tell their devoted readers that they are "unelectable".

That's not democratic either. Those "laws" are created by those in real positions of power and voted on by CONgress along party lines in most cases and/or depending on "contributions" from entities those "laws" serve.

well partys should be abolished completely, candidates should run on issues only. Then the real kicker, there should be one fund called us election fund that funds all elections from the county all the way up to national pressy, and anyone on the ticket at the beginning stays on the ticket to the end, none of this major league playoff ****.
