And yet your reply most certainly applies to existence and makes it seem little more than illusion.

As can be seen, the OP wishes to promote the idea that atheists have a religion, "their religion". Whilst I would not dispute there are atheists who have a religion it is not something all atheists "have". Using any definition but that which the OP uses excludes this atheist religion.

its something that is inherent in all people, does not matter what your flavor of moral, ethics, philosophy, or if you play little semantic word games. All 'conscious' people are religious.

Please see the religion moral thread.

yep that is why they are called 'internet' atheists as they have no idea how to apply formal logic and reason to their theories.

Atheism is long understood as the antithesis to theism and internet atheists are trying to use agnostic to slip in place of atheist and call it atheist, all sleight of hand political spin.

Atheism cannot be the antithesis to theism if internet atheists get their way by hijacking agnosticism and slipping their version of it in atheisms place.

    thats nonsense
No its perfectly clear until people try to start spinning ****.

I don't even know what calling atheism a religion would accomplish. The criticisms of (traditional) religion are not made up, they will not go away if one manages to phrase atheism as a religion, they will just change shape accordingly.

Atheists don't have the God Gene. Only those that were called...."Many are called, but few are chosen" Google "the god gene"

because its a worldview choice (round peg round slot) and with that choice are associated actions.

It's just like my orange example. Using "orange" to mean the fruit instead of a colour (or vice versa) is not a problem if that's what the argument is about.

I don't see that that makes a difference. Atheists will make many choices and take many actions that are unrelated or at least not necessary based on their atheism. Such actions don't get any more or less valid just because you manage to pin the label "religion" on it.

I did, where your suggestion that Atheism was a religion was thoroughly debunked by many posters. You need to learn that just because you make claims for yourself, it does not make them true.

just like theism is a world view then I guess and we need to blame ALL theists for 911 type events

or sense some theists bear false witness, they all do...

or cause some theists molest children in the house of their God, all do

    the list goes on

as has been explained to you many times, Theism just means you believe in a God, Atheism means you do not - nothing more then that

which has been explained to you equally as many times are completely different world views, each with completely different set of values.

so will theists and agnostics, what the point? No one said or implied every action man can take is a religion. Back to the all/never everything/nothing arguments?

I'm not sure I understand what the argument you made here was. Why does "associated actions" make it important for atheism to be a religion?

Not really. If I want to talk about the fruit, I would use "orange" to mean the fruit orange. I'm not obliged to stick to the paint/colour definition if the argument I am making is about the fruit.

the meaning of religion is 'to bind' it applies to your beliefs (or lack of, despite we know there is no such thing as lack of beliefs.)

Correct, however the posters who debunk your theory say much more than that, as I am sure you are aware. If not read the thread again.

A quick glance at the thread reveals that you made the 10,000 times statement up. Writing LMAO does not improve your position when I can clearly show the falsehood.
