Ted Knight died in 1986, Georgia Engels died just this April. Of course Mary left us in 2017 as well. Only Betty White (97), Cloris Leachman (93), Gavin MacLeod (8 and Ed Asner (90) remain of one of the most talented and remarkable ensemble companies in any sitcom. I loved that character driven comedy, and those actors orbiting Mary Tyler Moore each of whom created memorable but gentle humor that still lasts to the day. Those of who remember this show, should feel blessed, those who do not, need to see this on You tube. It represents a pivotal creative achievement. I don't think it is possible to ever be offended by the comedy here, and I know it was impossible not to smile or laugh periodically. In 2009, decades after its production, 'Chuckles Bites the Dust' of this series was ranked by TV Guide as episode #3 on "TV's Top 100 Episodes of All Time"
