If only we could get people to stop saying things like "I like Ron Paul, but I just don't think he can win."
Today (October 19th) unplug yourself from the media and take part in the rƎVO˩ution!

    You're smoking Pot again..right.

Nice rigged polling..just like last time and the time before..

but keep asking for more money..complaining Cain gets all the media coverage..wait..it was Romney..then Perry..Bachmann..Christie..Palin..and now some Cain dude..
How can poor ol Paul compete..he is soo smart..soo popular and so near last place..The media hates Him.. ( brilliant ,but not true.. )
OUR polls we pay for say he wins! ( every time ) without even saying much.

Lets bomb the internet for money..we learned how on polling..lets take it to the next step..maybe we can form NUTS FOR PAUL and be like ACORN and cheat at the ballot box.
Then we can all sit back..screw the man and get high..the dogs of war will be all gone..

puff puff.. maybe you can Get Johnson back..make your polls say he is popular too..

Ron Paul can come out with some pretty intelligent- sounding things. Usually right before he says something off-the-wall and totally crazy- sounding. He's taking up space and needs to bow out.

The Victors get to write History... Could you imagine if the British won the Revolutionary War? Or if Germany was able to conquer all of Europe? What would they teach their children that they were tyrants or murderers? Obviously not... so my conclusion is to simply look at what he said rather than what people make him out to be. His own actions proved he was a tyrant...

Started catastrophic war in order to prevent freedom to secede, murdered 350,000 Americans, white supremacist who did not care about slaves and tried to deport all blacks to Liberia, destroyed 10th Amendment, suspended habeas corpus, Union blockade, imprisoned 15,000 political opponents without a trial, shut down newspapers, restricted firearm ownership, rigged elections, started draft and murdered its protesters, divided Virginia for electoral advantage, ordered destruction, plundering, rape, and murder of Southern civilian towns, used European mercenaries, Chicago machine "pay to play" politician, nationalized railroads, anti-capitalist (mercantilist) policies: Morrill Tariff, National Banking Act, greenbacks, and deficits , genocidal policy toward Sioux ,Morrill Land-Grant Colleges Act, created temporary income tax in order to fund Civil War, made medicine contraband during war, attempted assassination of Jefferson Davis (Dahlgren Affair), used water torture on Northern civilians, cotton industry takeover/cronyism.

Just a comment on your quotes at the bottom of your posts. How does borrowing return wealth? Aren't borrowing and deficit spending two of the main things which lead to the trade deficit? Is the focus not all on spending, rather than producing?

Your own quote shows how idiotic you are when it comes to the Marketplace and Finances in general. Relying on your opinion would be like trying to rely on Iago for advice on matters.

Money goes overseas because we purchase their products, since "Our" wealth is there we have to borrow it back and that is what fixes the Economy? You do understand we have to pay those debts back either in the same amount we took or in our reputation.

Excellent post. The only thing I can think to add to it is; Through the 1800's virtually every country on the planet abolished slavery without a war. Why are we the only ones who had to fight a civil war to end slavery?

Also, the industrial North was rich and using unpaid slaves to fight in its army. The agricultural South was poor by comparison and could not arm their slaves. Why Lincoln need an income tax to fund the North against the South?

While the Republicans and media keep trying to push a new flavor of the week candidate, Ron Paul has remained consistent and is not some willow blowing with the political winds. He was on Fox this morning laying out a bit on his economic plan. People need to really listen to Ron Paul. He's not crazy, but he's not a sound bite candidate.

Of course, you can always settle for Romney and watch Obama win a second term.

Simple..quit posting garbage about the media hating Paul..
Debate on the current affairs..Not civil war history.
Quit counting on The constitution to make people forget the current world state of affairs.

Paul is not the right leader at this or any time..get over the fact he is some mythical teacher of constitutional knowledge.
He got nothing done in Congress..
Ran no major company..created zero jobs..and you argue about the media shunning his constitutional BS ??

Be real..he has no national support..he has the anti establishment POT vote and that is a known FACT..
You cant make it go away by personal attacks.
If you run on a plank at least admit it.

The press has asked him what he would replace the department of education with,...show us HIS education plan..the way to pay for it..He has none so he answers it is a state deal..thus dodging the question as he does on all issues. You cannot debate his lack of detail.

    Troll ?
No..If you want to put up Paul campaign crapola ..do it some where else.
I have never told people where to go to support Romney..I haven't seen Cain or any one else do that..ONLY Paul people..then you call anyone who says BS a troll ??

Maybe you should do another Paul poll right here..feel free..
    knock yourself out.

Thank God for that, (*)(*)(*)(*) Congress!
Maybe education shouldn't be centrally planned, but I guess not resorting to central planning is just something that never occurs to conservatives.

Will Paul people please designate what and who the

    Establishment is ?

Be specific.. and that just re qualifies my statement that Paul is the anti-establishment candidate.

If you mean that the educated majority is the establishment..go join the Wall St.Protest.
You know Paul is their guy..

There are 2 Pauls..The one in Kentucky will be much better than the elder.
    I support that one..
He isn't crazy 50 % of the time..

50 % is when he leaves The Fed and goes on about terrorist and ending wars.
I agree 100 % of the time when he discusses monetary changes and ending the Fed.
0 % when he goes elsewhere..
    ending balance 50 %
    Not enough for my support.

He has shown to have an even shot against President Obama: http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/yes-he-can-ron-paul-tied-5050-with-president-obama-in-recent-poll/

He is currently polled at 3rd or 4th in most polls regarding the Primary. While the Season is getting pushed up this cycle, it's good to remember where other candidates were at this point in the Primary. Carter was at 1% in his Primary, Clinton at 3%, Kerry was in 5th at 9%, McCain was 3rd in Florida before winning that State. Obama was a far second behind Clinton.

And Paul is way ahead of where he was in '08.

People are sick of fighting these wars and abusing our military, that's why he gets so much military support.

Everything the federal government runs they run into the ground, like the Post Office. I've come to terms with the fact that the 10's of 1000's of dollars I've paid into Social Security will not be there when it is my time to collect. We had the best healthcare system in the world and the federals had to go and stick their nose in it.

Education; we spend more than any other nation on the planet, $7,743 annually per child. That's more than it costs to send a kid to most private schools that are statistically far better, except when you add the fact that even if you send your kid to private school you still have to pay the taxes that fund the public shool. But our quality of education ranks somewhere around middle of the pack when compared to the rest of the world. $810 billion a year it costs us to fund a mediocre education.

Why is unemployment so high, 9.1%, more like 16.5%? Free trade agreements aren't a bad thing until you accompany them with a bundle of bad for business policies that make our corporations realize they can better utilize those free trade agreements from abroad. Let's give them free trade agreements with the second highest corporate tax on the planet. If that doesn't drive them out, let's give them Cap & Trade. If they're still here, give them Obamacare. The unions will handle the rest. Why do we need unions if we have a Department of Labor? Because we don't trust the government unless we're talking about education and war.

Why is it that most people seem to agree on the domestic issues with our federal government, at least to the point that we don't trust them, but when it comes to foreign policies we trust them fully? They tell us Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and Hussein is killing babies, we say blow 'em up. They tell us an American citizen is a terrorist operative in Yemen, we say screw the Constitution, assassinate him. WTF?! Now they're telling us we need to go to war in Iran, and The People seem fine with it. One endless war after another, over 900 bases in more than 100 countries, trillions of dollars, on the verge of bankruptcy, and people are still beating the war drum.

The government is dumbing us down, and it shows, in who we've chosen as our leaders and what we've allowed them to get away with. They walk all over our constitution, and we just let it happen. The more our government spends on education, the dumber we get. Some of us slip through the cracks and give us documentaries like "Stupid in America", but its not enough. Mild grumblings and small movements, its like a case of diarrhea. The People won't covet freedom until they've lost it completely, and when the domestic market is bare and the foreign markets reject the dollar, the will lose it completely.

I spent eight months of last year in that forsaken desert, and I noticed how those theocracies effectively keep their masses stupid, how easily stupid people are controlled by their leaders, how obediently they follow. That is why they hate America and don't want our "freedom". Ignorance is bliss, their people are too stupid to realize their lives suck, and the leaders are living the dream.

The government has so effectively dumbed us down and made us its dependents that they've turned us against freedom. We have people protesting capitalism! They have no clue that this country hasn't had a capitalist economy since 1913. In free market capitalism, government doesn't pick the winners and losers, consumers do. We have people praising democracy! They don't know that democracy is the problem, not the solution. They have no clue that our founders gave us a republic and opposed democracy. Why don't they know these things? Because they don't teach it in public school. Hmmm.

Ron Paul has never accomplished anything in Congress? Then how did he earn the nickname "Dr. No"? He is the only one who is talking about, and has proven he is serious about, cutting spending, cutting government out of every aspect of our lives, and cutting the endless foreign occupancies and interventions. So long as the establishment has its stranglehold on The Sheeple, they will call those ideas extreme, radical, ridiculous and crazy.
