Well here we go. Another version of events for Roswell. This time it comes from a DIA leak that apparently just happened recently. I haven't seen the documents myself, but the report of them isn't scary. A crashed UFO and alien bodies at another site. I don't know why they were covered up then.

I'm skeptical, it's in my nature. Is there a link to the actual leaked document?

BTW, have civilian metal detector hobbyists ever gone over the Roswell crash site to look for fragments of the alien craft?
PS- and have drone hobbyists ever flown their minidrones over Area 51 to peek in windows and stuff?

Well, yes, I would imagine enthusiasts have been up and down the desert with metal detectors looking for evidence.

Area 51 is guarded and I think if anyone tried to launch a drone a security detail would come over and get them.

1- Perhaps the Roswell craft was made of a special metal that doesn't register on metal detectors?
2- I'm not a minidrone expert but I think if one was flown high enough over any secret establishment it'd be too small for the guards to see or hear, and would also be too small to be picked up on radar.
Its onboard camera could have a zoom lens to peek through windows and hangar doors etc from high altitude. and if the cam had night vision capability it could fly at night for maximum stealth.
As far as I know, a possible defence would be for every establishment to have a "drone detector" sensor on a roof that sounded an alarm when it picked up a drone control signal, so the guards could hurry out with binocs to scan the sky to shoot it down, but they'd have to be good shots. Also, the detector could pinpoint where the drone pilot was transmitting from, and a jeep could go out to arrest him.
But anyway all that's purely academic, because any secret establishment could easily defeat drones simply by making sure that everything on the ground was hidden from view..:)

I thought they shut Area 51 down as a testing ground so even if someone did get in there likely wouldn't be anything to see now. Or have I heard wrong?

I heard that it was abandoned too, but I keep hearing about Area 51 and the security detail guarding it.

Also apparently the base is growing:
