I reckon Giuliani is rat cunning and by no means a dumbarse. But, he is digging his own hole and might take Trump down with him.

On what basis, in what role, was he in Europe talking to Ukrainain Political figures?

He has no official US Government role, and he is not a registered Foreign Agent.

He is a private US Attorney, nothing more than that, yet there he is, right in the middle of all this.

All I can say, sit back and wait. The Ukrainian fiasco will crumble. The problem is, the Democrats agenda over Trump is at bursting point and this whistleblower thing has triggered them.

All they needed to do was calm down, sort out a preliminary investigation instead of going all out mouth frothing impeachment rhetoric. Once you have Trump wanting to release everything and the Ukrainian president just as bamboozled as everyone minus Democrats, something is amiss.

Looks like the Democrats are handing a 2020 second term on a plate to Trump. After the Russian fiasco, the Democrats were warned that any movement towards impeachment will strengthen Trump, and as predicted, they didn't listen. But they couldn't listen, they are so incensed with Trump, their own stupidity was off the scale. You can't fix stupid, you can't fix the democrat party.

I do..the left 3 ways from Sunday were cheering Trump on during the Primaries...then once they realized he was going to be the GOP nominee? This insanity has been going on ever since. for Trump's private attorney to meet with the Ukrainian government in a professional capacity, Trump would have to have legal or economic interests to be represented in those meetings. What would those be, and how would discussions of Hunter Biden be properly in Giulianis' scope of practice as his private counsel? That would be the only way his conversations with Trump about this episode would be covered by client privilege. The only way for executive privilege to apply is between parties in the executive branch. A private attorney is not such a party. These are intriguing questions... We are not the smartest people on the planet, you and I. That means smarter people will probably be asking those questions too. I wonder if Giuliani wonders who they might be!

The only thing of interest is when Guiliani is subpoenaed is he going to claim Executive Privilege or Lawyer/ Client privilege or both?

 

So...he was not acting as a merely concerned US Citizen or the Lawyer for Trump. Fine. That means he cannot claim legal proferssional privilege when asked about any communication he had with Trump on the matter.

So far, he has offered at least two answers......he did it as as concerned US citizen and that he was asked to do it by the State Department. Which one is it. He is toast, and you watch Trump do a Cohen on him.

 

No, what you want is me to speculate in a way to be against Giuliani and Trump. I don't work for the American government, I haven't been to the meetings or party to the dealings with the Ukraine. There's a heck of a lot that goes on behind the scenes between country's governments.

You've heard Giuliani have a meeting with the Ukrainian government and it could be over a billion and one reasons.

Because I sit on the fence until everything has been investigated, I'm not being party in creating fake news and Chinese whispers. If you want speculation off someone to match your agenda, you need to speak to other posters willing to partake.

 

Nothing in that Article proves that the State Department initiated Rudy’s contact with the Ukrainians.

That makes no sense..

Volker has resigned and is under subpoena for a deposition so we'll all find out eventually.

But all should remember that Rudy has ZERO credibility at the start of this investigation...
