Rudy Giuliani Is Reportedly Close to Broke—and Donald Trump Isn’t Taking His Calls
IIRC, Trump refused Rudy's calls late last year. It was said that was about Trump telling his people not to pay him. I don't know why Rudy would go back in the ring for Trump but he did and now he's being ignored.

It really bothered me the way Trump treated Pence. He essentially put a bounty on his head because he (Pence) refused to break the law the way Trump wanted him to (by not certifying the election counts).

Here's what I don't get. How can Trumpers be okay with Trump treating people who've been loyal to him this way?

Why is this behavior acceptable to them?

Doesn't it show just how little character he has?

Trump doesn't have that kind of foresight. Look at how many times his conversations have been leaked. He just had a tantrum on Friday because they released the notes taken by one or two guys he talked to at the DOJ.

One would think he would stop saying stupid stuff on phone calls.

Bankrupting people who have effectively done nothing really wrong with endless legal complaints is an effective way to get them to flip on the target prosecutors are really after. But is it a moral thing to do?

That sounds like MORE reason for Trump to help him out.

Uggg, ya. Do you ever re-read your posts right after you make them and you're not happy with what you typed but also anxious to move on to something else?

If they’ve done nothing wrong why would it bankrupt them to cooperate? Wouldn’t they want to cooperate?

No but you can still give money to Trumps “legal fund”

    https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-usa-election-trump-fundraising-insigh-idINKBN27R30B

You know the one that he set up to pay for the legal fees for lawyers who challenged the election results in court - lawyers like Giuliani
    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...g-schemes-campaign-finance-scrutiny-criticism

You know the fund that he was using to steal money from his donors with autochecked boxes for recurring donations

Rudy's problems are entirely SELF INFLICTED.

Which is something that he has in common with the biggest *LOSER*.

Hopefully BOTH of them will end up behind bars where they BELONG.

Indeed. Look at how the repubs let trump skate on his crimes.
Now the orange dotard is an albatross around their neck dragging them further down into the gutter. Getting in bed with a malignant narcissist was a bad tactic.
This story reminds me of trump and the repubs-

I've avoided paying attention to Trump until it became impossible to do so. Sadly, if Rick is correct then Trump may mark the historical inflection point of the end of the USA. Not that we haven't had other exceptionally ignonomous behaviors from our Presidents, and Vice Presidents.

Have you ever watched The Sopranos?

One of that story's major themes was that many people LIKE and some even ADMIRE blatantly toxic people. There are complicated reasons for this but we are seeing the consequences now.

Yes, this is how Democrats punish people who supported Trump. Use the endless resources of government prosecutors and investigators to bankrupt political opponents.

Trump instructed his people not to pay Rudy and wouldn't take his calls some time late last year also.

So, it's not as if he's been an upstanding ethical person and Mother Jones set out to sully his golden reputation. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of sources detailing his lifelong habit of cheating people and not paying his bills.

Rudi should have covered his bases, especially given trumps history with bill paying
Doesn’t sound like a very good lawyer to me

We're talking about a creeper that thought a 15 year old was interested in him, helped to stoke the flames on 1/6/2021 ("trial by combat") and makes a mockery of his profession.

Doesn't sound like a very good person to me.
