Sorry, but ... Russia cries “sabotage” after Slovakia questions quality of Sputnik vaccine Russia now says it wants its vaccine back from Slovakia. Beth Mole - 4/9/2021, 4:30 PM Russia has asked Slovakia to return 200,000 doses of the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine after Slovak testing indicated serious quality control issues. The Slovak regulatory agency, the State Institute for Drug Control, reported that the batches it received did not “have the same characteristics and properties” as the Sputnik vaccine that was peer-reviewed in the Lancet and found to be 91.6 percent effective. In light of Slovakia’s doubts about the quality of the vaccine doses, Russia went on the attack on Twitter. Russia’s official “Sputnik V” Twitter account claimed in a thread that the Slovak regulator has “launched a disinformation campaign against #SputnikV and plans additional provocations.” The account labeled the agency’s testing results as “fake news.” ... ctd: https://arstechnica.com/science/202...lovakia-questions-quality-of-sputnik-vaccine/ Got to like how they use Trump's playbook, right down to the "fake news" non-defense.
Good for Slovakia, to not just take Russia's word, though they'd probably have tested anyone's vaccine. What does it say that Russia's Sputnik V vaccine was so off the mark, besides that it obviously wasn't tested back in Russia? (I believe this is the vaccine that Israel got for some Palestinians). Is it possible that bad vaccines were sent on purpose, to this Ukrainian neighbor, in the hope that they wouldn't be tested? Now let's see how many members here take Russia's side, against our NATO ally, Slovakia.
