    Washington(CNN)The intelligence community's top election security official delivered a briefing to lawmakers last week warning them that the intelligence community believes Russia is already taking steps to interfere in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump win, three sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.

    Last week's briefing, led by election security official Shelby Pierson and first reported by The New York Times, addressed the overall picture of Russia's efforts, including hacking, weaponizing social media and attacks on election infrastructure, one of the sources said.

    Well no **** Sherlock. Why would they stop? It worked once, they even have the US president denying it was them! Pretty clear putin has coopted the gop. Funneling money through Lev into trumps campaign, infiltrating the NRA....

    Can anyone point out how Russia benefited the past few years? Besides trolling our populace putting people against each other, infesting social media and forums like this drumming up hatred...

    Trump doesn't need Russian help.

    He has the support of the American people.

    You have to sort through millions of trump memes before you find one that was actually made by Russians.

    The fact Democrats still believe Hillary lost because of Russian Facebook ads nobody saw or remembers is very telling of how badly we are going to crush them in 2020.

    We will be busy campaigning, and they will be busy hunting for Russians on the internet.

    American Democrats/neo-commies see the control the Chinese Democrats/neo-commies have over the Internet in China and are hella jealous.
