Investigation by who? What investigation? There is no investigation of Trump despite that lie being told by corporate propaganda outlets a million times.

The only investigation is whether Russia tried to influence our election, which is absurd since every country of any significance tries to influence our elections just like we try to influence theirs.

The other point is that even if Trump "colluded" with Putin or Russians to influence the election also does not merit any investigation since doing so would be entirely legal. Only illegal actions would be illegal. Otherwise, he could been talking with Putin 5 times a day about how Putin could help him in the election and reasons for Putin to do so - such as Hilary promising to go to direct war against Russia with our military, ie true nuclear WWIII. That would be a good reason for Putin to want to do what he could for Trump to win. If Putin was promising to have the Russian military attack our forces in the M.E. I'm confident we would do more than just try to influence his re-election.

Hilary "colluded" with the Queen of England to try to influence the election.

It depends on how detailed the report is and if the current fact's support the finding's.

    Mueller is a good man.

He won't lie, cheat, steal nor tolerate those who do.

Mueller is a partisan Democrat hack. He endorsed Obama, endorsed Clinton, attacked Trump in the election, already sided with Comey in relation to Trump and already pre-announced his decision before even appointed.

No one with Trump should talk to anyone with Mueller's team. None are required to. Nor should Trump. They all should just say "My lawyer's name is..." and decline to answer anything.

They do a good trick, like the FBI does. They do not record interviews because that would document what was actually said. Instead, they claim their proof is "contemporaneous notes" they took at the time, meaning anything they want to say the other person said, and then prosecute not for any crime, but claiming the person lied to them. They can convict anyone who falls for that cheap trick.

    Guilty of what?

I have yet to hear any crime he is even accused of.

Excellent point, and for a country to accuse another one of hacking when that country is hacking too is hypocritical in the extreme: but I still don't understand what kind of influence can be exerted through cyber-space. [IMG]

I'd accept the results as long as all of the investigations (House, Senate, and FBI) are thorough and appear to have been honestly conducted. And, if trump keeps his big nose out of them and STOPS trying to obstruct them every other day.

But I'd like them to follow all evidence to wherever it leads. That seems to be what is scaring the pants off of this administration.

Actually there is no legal requirement that the findings must be released according to the rules and regulations pertaining to the Special Counsel.

However there would be a political price for NOT releasing them publicly.

The current criminal investigation into the Trump campaign has identified a "person of interest close to the president".

That would be nice if it actually happened but we can already see efforts on the part of the Whitehouse to impugn Mueller's credibility.

    Google "Mueller"

Really, how can anyone serious deny an enquiry is under way when the news is clear, unambiguous and undisputed?
If there's ever a prize for the most moronic post on the internet I'll vote for yours.

The cyber space of influence would be tweets on twitter, comments on face book, posts on forums, youtube news sites (Alex Jones, etc.) etc. The thing I notice is that Russia (to my knowledge) has not been accused of lying to the American public so I can only deduce from that that telling the real truth must be considered a crime in American politics. :lonely:

That has nothing whatsoever to do with how or why Mueller is being impugned.
