Sad that US forces are being called traitors over what BLOTUS ordered them to do. Too funny, though, that Russian soldiers thought they could take Americans in a brawl and got destroyed. That's the difference between the US military and the Russian military. The Russian military is made to look all great and powerful in propaganda but is actually nothing special, whereas the US military is the real deal!

So, could American Forces have held the city indefinitely? The reality is two-fold: A: Assad is the Syrian President, whether they like that or not. America cannot embroil itself into the civil war, especially with the Syrian government having invited the Russians. We can win a 'fist fight', but there's a reason it was a fist fight and not anything bigger than that. Had an American or Russian soldier lost their life, the escalation would have been huge.

We cannot 'betray' something that is not our interest or our fight. It was the Obama Administration's fight. It's Washington's fight. But it is not the fight of the United States and its forces. We cannot create Kurdistan, or a 'free Syria'. That's their fight as well. When Assad either croaks the bed, or the military takes the side of the citizenry, that's when Syria will have a new opportunity.

And the Kurds have to negotiate what they can with Syria and Turkey. They have neither the political power or the capital to get us to flex our muscles for them.

Reverse image search places that image back to at least 2014 with no context what it pertains to. Could easily be some civilian contractor on a rear area base someplace.

The fistfight report has no verifiable info in it and only two "news agencies" carried the report. We cannot know if regular Russian troops were involved, or private Russian contractors.

Those Russian contractors by the way have had their asses handed to them by American forces before. Only that time it was artillery and heavy munitions pummeling an armored column of Russian mercenaries who stupidly thought to advance on an American Special Forces base. They were warned off, they ignored the warning, a lot of them were blown to little bloody bits for their arrogance.

The problem with the Russians is that they only fight for money. They are unfamiliar with idealism such as freedom and democracy. As civilians, they would be unemployed and poor. That's the only reason why they serve gangster boss Pootin.

The problem with most Americans is that they've ate up the MSM propaganda just as much as pizzas. That's why we're a country full of fatasses who know nothing about daily life in Russia.

 

The story is a load of BS. Only local sources are claimed with no clues to who saw what that can be followed up on. No photos or video has come out. The Russian and American military routinely put out statements on incidents between their forces, yet only silence on this thing. It is a made up lie by some idiots with an internet connection and too much free time on their hands.

The pictures of fat guys are civilian contractors doing things like driving supply trucks, construction work on bases, that sort of thing. No American soldier would last long enough in that condition without being ordered into a weight loss and fitness plan, and then rapidly kicked out for failing to meet Body Mass Index/Body Fat regulations. This isn't new, it's been going on for more than a generation. Overweight troops are not tolerated in the US military forces, they either obey orders and get in shape or they are discharged. Period end of story.

Obesity is the first sign of great prosperity. But is easy to get a grip on.

I was in the Infantry back in the 80's and served with some big guys, but we did too much PT for any of us to get that obese. Most of the guys who were big like the photos being posted worked at Battalion driving a desk.

Fat soldiers? Yes. Fat Infantry? Not likely.
