Your claim .1) The primary does not cause much fallout Most of the yield comes from the secondary.

Above you completely screw up claiming Fission (primary) does not cause much fallout .
Big screw up .. you are confusing yeild with fallout .. Fission is the dirty part .. Fusion the clean part.

Your claim that Fission does not cause much fallout is False .. and changing your story from one post to another will not make your claim true.

Another preposterously false claim ..as almost all hydrogen bombs get more than half of yeild from Fusion. and no .. "Tactical Nukes" are not "Almost all hydrogen bombs"

Now you are claiming that heat is not a primary component of Fusion --- BBBWWWAAAAA HHHHAAAA HHHAAAA -- You make me laugh dude .. 3 Strikes -- Yeeerrrrrrrrr OUT ! :)

@Gifteddone is largely correct aside from his comments about tactical nuclear weapons. Only the very smallest tactical nuclear weapons are fission (atomic) bombs. Most nuclear weapons of all types are indeed fusion (hydrogen) weapons.

I havn't commented on tactical nuclear weapons .. other than to say that "Allmost all nuclear weapons" are not tactical nukes - meaning the vast majority of nukes on US /Russia arsenal are not tactical nukes. Was toggle who was on about tactical nukes .. saying they were clean because "Fission doesn't caues much fallout" .. according to Toggle .. which of course is preposterous nonsense .. and the reason we are trying to build "Fusion" reactors .. because it is super clean.

Bolton advocated an Israeli first strike, but took it back when his comments were made public.

“During a little-noticed speech at the University of Chicago on Tuesday, John Bolton suggested a way to resolve the controversy over Iran’s nuclear program: Israel should launch a nuclear attack on Iran. Speaking to the University Republicans and the Chicago Friends of Israel, Bolton, George W. Bush’s hawkish ambassador to the United Nations, said, “Unless Israel is prepared to use nuclear weapons against Iran’s program, Iran will have nuclear weapons in the very near future.” Bolton has repeatedly declared that Iran’s nuclear program is unacceptable. Given that he holds this position, his contention that the only way to prevent a nuclear Iran is with a nuclear attack appears to be a backdoor endorsement of just such a strike.”
MOTHER JONES, On Tape: Bolton Backs Israeli Nuke Strike on Iran?, Listen to a recording of Bush’s UN ambassador appearing to endorse a nuclear attack., By Nick Baumann, OCTOBER 16, 2009.

You can't compare the American costs with the Russian costs, since the ruble has a much lower value than the dollar. Everything costs less to make and almost all the minerals and manufacturing is produced and made in Russia. It is a world in itself, nothing is imported.

Because of this, Washington cannot compete fairly with Russia in arms sales so it resorts to sanctions. That way other nations are forced to buy American arms and goods at a much higher price.

If you look at the chart, you will notice that Russia has put more into its tanks, since that's what they will need when they roll into Europe - unless you prefer them to use nukes? Also, one Russian nuclear armed stealth sub can take out an aircraft carrier, so what good are they?

As for the ships, most Russian ships are small because they are stationed in the Caspian Sea and can only enter the Black Sea through a river and canal.

I can't understand Toggle Almendro. I thought he was Polish, but if he is, he seems to have forgotten the genocide of Poles by the Gallician ancestors of the Nazis in Ukraine. Yet they haven't apologized for it, instead they honor Bandera who founded the unit that killed them every year and are appalled that Poland would dare denigrate their hero.

Bandera's their hero for what? I guess it's because he killed the Poles, since it was Lenin and Stalin that gave the Russian, Polish, Hungarian and Czech lands to Ukraine. It was not Bandera.

The Poles were killed with axes, saws and hoes. One has to wonder how people could resort to such cruelty, which appalled even the hardened Nazis. One Russian said that there is something lacking in their soil, but I think they were on drugs and/or in the occult.

No screw up. My claim is correct.

Still no screw up. Still no confusion.

    Low yields produce little fallout.

No it isn't. Very small amounts of fission produce very small amounts of fallout.

I know. And you were wrong to repeatedly claim that fusion is dirty.

I have not changed anything at all.

Wrong. Almost all hydrogen bombs get at least half their yield from fission.

    True.

    I never said otherwise.

    I make no such claim.

    No, I'm still here.

No he isn't. He has been repeating untrue statements over and over again.

He is wrong to say that fusion causes lots of dangerous fallout.

He is wrong to say that most hydrogen bombs get most of their yield from fusion.

He is wrong to say that primaries are used to heat secondaries.

I never said any such thing. I said that it was fission that does cause fallout.

So you now recognize that you were wrong to say that fusion causes lots of dangerous fallout?

It appears the Mr. Bolton was not aware that Israel is capable of destroying Iran's illegal nuclear program with a conventional strike.

If he knew I'm sure he would not have said that nuclear weapons were necessary.

One at a time here .. since you cherry picked all pertinent info out of last post .. in desperate attempt to hide .. doing noting but twirling around crying "NO NO NO I am Correct" over and over.

which of the numerous things you got wrong .. are you saying is correct .. how about heat not being involved in the Fusion process .. your latest joke of a claim .. completely false .. Even Dayton spoke up ..along with the 2 or 3 other mistakes .. on generally known elementary information. and we disagree on most everything .. .. bless his heart..

but tell me about how Heat is not involved in the generation of Fusion .. I learned differently .. as did everyone else in the world .. but yes .. please correct me.. Mr. Scientist .. Tell this lowly quantum chemist what is what ..

I left nothing out. I addressed every point.

I have not gotten anything wrong. Everything that I have said is correct.

I have not made any such claim.

    Heat is involved in fusion.

    I have never said otherwise.

Yes you did .. when I stated heat was involved .. you said Wrong .. I gave you a website describing the process .. and you still said ... "Wrong ... Wrong .. wrong"

You change your story like a leaf blowing in the wind.

Wrong. When you said that heat from the primary was involved, I said wrong.

That is not a denial that heat is involved. There is heat in this universe other than heat from nuclear primaries.

And despite that website being full of obvious errors it still confirmed that you are wrong and I am correct.

I have not changed anything at all.

Everything that I've said is true.

Here are four quotes of you saying that fusion causes dangerous fallout:

    2) "Fusion - so little fall out" This is 100% false ..on your level of understanding of how the bomb works .. and 200% false with respect to fallout .. simply no clue what you are talking about .. your just "WRONG" - demonstrably so .. six ways to Sunday .. I am sorry to say .. do test us on this one ... Please - as it will be much fun .. for the others.
Now "being wrong" once in awhile happens to the best of us - all make mistakes - .. so do not dispair as you are in good company - remember however that it fool who refuses correction (2) in particular, and we don't want to go into that group ... heads up .. I was in grade 8 when I made gunpowder .. then I went on to become a chemist .. studying quantum in my 4th year .. shrodinger wave equations .. not that any of this is required .. but probably not a bad idea to do a little google before responding .. or ask Dayton to explain it to you.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...or-the-us-coast.587501/page-8#post-1073099687

One did not have to know that however, to know that Fusion Bombs aka hydrogen bombs create a massive amount of fallout .. ground bursts more-so than air. Did you not know that we have tested these things .. many many times ? .. would you like an example .. or continue to dig your grave further.. Told you mate .. you dead wrong .. "Little fallout" Sorry ...but .. yeah.. its one thing to make a mistake .. another to keep digging .. Its just going to get more pathetic as we go .. but do feel free to continue.
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...or-the-us-coast.587501/page-8#post-1073100167

all thermonuclear bombs get almost all of their yeild from Fusion - and they produce huge fallout if detonated anywhere near ground or water .. There are no Hydrogen bombs that don't get almost all yeild from Fusion. Nail two and three You don't realize that all hydrogen bombs get most of their yeild from Fusion .. and
    3) that these bombs have huge fallout if detonated near ground/water.
Castle Bravo - Fishermen 90 miles away were covered with radioactive ash .. radiation sickness .. one died .. area roughly 7000 Sq miles/KM? was contaminated. Islands having very high radiation levels for decades.. ground burst . . of course.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...or-the-us-coast.587501/page-8#post-1073100332

    2) Bombs that get almost all of their yield from fusion do not cause very much dangerous fallout at all.
Demonstrably false nonsense .. what part of "All Hydrogen bombs get most of their yeild from Fusion" do you not understand ? There are no Hydrogen bombs that don't get most of their yeild from fusion. You don't have a clue what you are talking about.
Castle Bravo - a Hydrogen Bomb - like all hydrogen bombs .. got most of its yeild from Fusion .. but caused a heck of alot dangerous fallout .. over 7000 square miles .. which is a heck of alot of Geography. Wrong

The primary (fission) reaction is what creates the heat for fusion.. you wrong again.. like strike 5 now ..
after which you cut out 'Fission creates the heat required to set of Fusion" and said "Wrong"

Change your story from one post to the next.

I thought the heat generated by a small fission explosion was used to trigger the fusion in a fusion (H bomb) warhead. IIRC a fission explosion generates heat of about one million degrees Fahrenheit while a fusion explosion produces heat of about 10 million degrees.

Correct .. not sure how big the fission charge is but .. big enough to create temperatures that of the sun which sets off fusion ..

I discussed this on another discussion board and what I heard was that the size of the fission charges used remains pretty much a secret but they vary based on the size of the fusion yield of the main part of the warhead.

I've heard that in general the size of the fission explosion was anywhere from 1 to 1.5 kilotons up to 5-10 kilotons for very large (megaton range) fusion weapons.

No it isn't. What the primary provides is compression.

That is one way to do it. But this fission-generated heat does not come from the primary.

I doubt it varies much. Once you achieve enough heat to ignite fusion, the reaction should be self sustaining for as long as the required density is maintained. A larger mass of fusion fuel will not need a larger fission charge to ignite it.

    Everyone understands that, particularly Russia.
Her navy is best respected for its submarines.
I wonder how her air force will hold up against USA and NATO - one look at
the 1982 Lebanon war is not encouraging.
To a large extent Russia sees itself as being a land empire.
The comparison I would make would be between say England and France
    in the Napoleanic era.

Not really worth it as an indicator. IIRC from U.S. News & World Report, the Russians (Soviets) insisted that Syrian pilots ejected from their Soviet built aircraft as soon as their radar warning indicators detected an Israeli fighter locking on to them.

May be true. May be ass covering by the Soviets.
