Well, Trump won't have to go alone to whip Rocket man. He has the assistance of an elite combat group formed by South Korea to take out his important facilities. Trump wins this hands down. And the good old U S of A won't have rockets from North Korea to deal with.

You won't see this in the Trump hating american media.

And the link, check the link. It has much more to say.

I wonder how good todays ROK military is today ?

66 or so years ago give or take the ROK Army Tiger Division and the ROK Marine Blue Dragons Brigade served in South Vietnam alongside American soldiers and Marines and they were really good. They didn't put up with any political correctness or tried to win hearts and minds and kicked ass big time. Charley went out of their way avoiding the Tiger Division and the Blue Dragons.

I am not able to tell you that. When i was at Schweinfurt Germany, one of the E-3 or E-4 showed up at the HQ I was the clerk of. And over time he told me he got to us from Korea. i recall him speaking of the cold. i never got much information from him though. Things are in good hands if their units are still that good.

Probably still more ruthless than American units, but not likely still as ruthless as the generation serving in Nam units. Doubtful they will treat NK troops and people like they would Vietnamese or other races in either era, except of course the Cadre vermin who can look forward to some very 'creative attention' if captured alive.

Those South Korean (ROK) soldiers and Marines who served in South Vietnam were all alive during the Korean War, most were probably rug rats at the time but their parents lived through and remember both the North Koran soldiers and the red Chinese soldiers, all were commies.

I served almost six months in the Hoi An area which at the time was the 2nd ROK Marines Blue Dragons Brigade TAOR and the way the Koreans looked at it, they were killing commies.

I never went to Korea though my uncle Gene died there as a combat engineer and we were close when he was home. He was my magic uncle.

I appreciate killing commies since when in Berlin for a month, I saw it up close in East Berlin. They were dreadful. We in the Army in West Berlin did not stomp around carrying machine guns on us. In East Berlin it was common to see them carrying such arms. It felt oppressive being in East Berlin. it was as if the life of the city was totally sucked out of it. Too much evidence of WW2 remained in the East. Russians appeared to hate the Germans and want to keep them buried. Communism was as much fun as my visit to play chess was at San Quentin Prison with the inmates. Believe me, the inmates were not a lot of fun.
