I don't need to google Benny Hill lol I'm English and an 80's child, they were the only US shows I could remember that was actually any good on a Saturday night.

We have our own demons though Beadles About and Noel House party....

 

I too am an 80s child. Yes I am 80. When I was born, the fighting in WW2 England had not even began. Hitler still was a pal to your country.

 

I agree. England lost a great Comedian when he died. Canada has a very good Comedy show called Red Green.

This is one reason why I really enjoyed Benny Hill. By the way, when will this circle back to appreciate a truly awesome British Comedian?

 

Dave Allen was a truly awesome British Comedian. I thought he was much funnier than Benny Hill.

 

His perpetual motion machine was good too.

AS for benny, in his hay day, his show NEVER would have been broadcast on American tv. Way to racy.
