    Salafism appeared long before European colonialism started in the Arab World (more than 200 years ago), and had nothing to do with it.

    Salafism came as a response to what some Islamic scholars believed was a deviation from the real Islam committed by muslims at the time.

    I was just reflecting on what most Saudis think, and TBH they are right.

    Muslim maids in general tend to be lazy. Indonesian maids on the other hand, to don't really bother with prayer and sometimes even fasting, so they are more active.

    That is what Salafis preach, and that is why they are so extreme.

    The Quran and the sayings of the prophet is long overdo for some serious updating, which most Muslims refuse to do.

    There is no real Islam. A Muslim is he who believes that there is no god but Allah and that Mohammed is his prophet, and That's it.

    i am not a salafi.
    salafis are not just teaching that.

    there is no reform in islam.
    reform is suggesting that Allah couldn't forsee the future.

    he created time?

    If the Saudi women think that Bangladeshi maids are lazy what do the Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi maids both think of Saudi women? :mrgreen:
