    Why, their laws are their laws. As long as they are not starving a portion of their population based on religious preference It don't matter more to me than paying more for energy and further destabilizing another part of the middle east.

    No it is not, we should stay out of internal affairs, if there ever was a call for it, the one we should have got involved was in Rwanda and we we didn't, because they didn't have any assets that our corporations wanted, it was just black on black killing.

    A woman wants to be free to live; a country based on that principle purposely ignores her so it can kiss the ass of a religious tyranny. You can’t see the self-interest of a free nation taking a stand. You’re right, it’s not short-sighted; it’s self-induced blindness, a blindness created by hatred.... hatred of the good, hatred of capitalism, hatred of selfishness. Best of luck.
