    Not a considered question.

    Revising regulations- makes business easier.
Shifting focus on things that depress or encourage development, such as revitalizing the industries in the north central areas.
Bringing confidence in the management of government has massive impact.
Investors looked at what Trump's leadership would bring, and immediately gained confidence in the future, and invested in it, helping finance expansions. The result being the stock market has shattered over 100 records.
Making business easier to do, bringing companies that had moved off-shore back, invigorates the economy with money, expansion, creates jobs, reduces unemployment,. and that creates an upswing in wages which creates an upswing in spending power and the quality of living.

He's already done these things and the results are facts, not suppositions.
It's not creating an economy where there was none at all- it's making a thriving one out of a struggling one.

    That's how.

I agree that they were never going to let Sanders have it; and that's primarily because their internal polling shows that the nation is not yet that far to the Left. I suspect, however, that this 'you can't hit the campaign trail during a senate impeachment trial' rule is not going to be all that restrictive in this instant communications, social media era. Sanders will campaign from his senate office if it comes down to that; as will Warren.

I think Warren is the DNCs pick just like Hillary was before her. Everything else is merely the left pretending they have a choice... just like 2016.

Convenient of Nancy to hold the Articles of Impeachment until right on the eve of the Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada primaries. That will bench Bernie's and Warren's campaigns just when they need to be hitting the ground hard to get those early votes.

I do take sides ? once again you are confused. I side with what is good for the people of the America - the founding principles and the principles of Republicanism.

You side against these principles - unfortunately.

Do you really believe supporting Tulsi means you are more concerned about what's good for the American people than, say, Trump supporters? If so, you should back Superman... you know, for truth, justice & the American way?

I don't know if she would be far better for the country - she has never been President. Trump has - and he has been a disaster.

Perhaps Tulsi will do a 180 on everything she has stood for previously like Obama - and be an Establishment wonk.

I don't have to make such guesses with Trump - I know he is an Establishment wonk.

The point I make is that Tulsi has a demonstrated anti Establishment Track Record. We see Trump claim to be against regime change wars - but he didn't lift a finger to support the "Stop Arming Terrorist Act"

Tough question for you - Do you support arming and supplying and supporting Al Qaeda - or are you against giving tens of thousands of tons of sophisticated military equipment - (including surface to air missiles perfect for taking out airliners) - to groups such as Al Qaeda and ISIS ?

The impeachment trial will probably take down Sanders and Warren.
Not sure who the real DNC pick will be, but the one they choose will win the nomination.

Would the DP elites stage a phony impeachment trial to rig its primaries for Big Money?
    Surely not! ;-)

So these people you are speaking of, are they not smart enough to get a legal contract that spells out what their rent will be over a defined time period? That one little thing would prevent the landlord from "raising the rent whenever they please." If a person wants to rent a place to live, at least be smart enough to get a lease. C'mon man!

It seems pretty clear now that this has been the plan all along.

Agreed. Bernie does seem to be the only sincere one of the bunch. Well, that's not entirely true, Biden is sincerely an establishment shill...

I’m a Green and agree with Jill Stein on most issues.

I think that Hillary was just trying to ride in on Bill’s coat tails. I even momentarily changed my voter registration to Democrat just so I could vote for Bernie Sanders.

If one looks at the polling data, it is quite clear that Hillary lost because of the Republican fabricated email scandal. Every time it hit the news cycle Hillary took a hit in the polls. Russia helped by hacking an email account of one of her people. There was nothing in the emails that was damaging, but the Republicans got a lot of mileage from just saying, “email”.

In the final days the polls showed Hillary with an easy lead. Then Comey announced that there were emails on Anthony Weinner’s laptop. The next day Hillary’s lead began to drop until the election when Trump won. Comparing the votes between 2016 and 2012 and 2008, Trump didn’t get any more votes than McCain or Romney. The email fiasco caused likely Democratic voters to not vote. Nonetheless Hillary still won the popular vote by close to 3 million votes. Trump’s approval has never been above 50% and has mostly hovered around 40% for most of his presidency.

In the aftermath of Trump’s unfortunate win, there has been a lot of organizing, a lot of energy on the left side of things. They turned the House blue in 2018, and have been doing better than expected in most other elections since. Currently Trump’s disapproval sits at around 54%.

Possibly Trump could win in November, but I doubt it more and more every day. After all, he has turned into the laughing stock of the world. Most people do not like or trust Trump. His base, as fanatical as they are, are in the minority.

Donald Trump had never run for or held public office before he was elected president and you expect a helluva lot outta him. Doubt you'd expect that much outta her, huh? ;)

Just because you call Trump an establish wonk doesn't mean he is one. Billionaires own and run the establishment. They have no need to wonk.

Instead of nit picking, try to see the bigger picture. President Trump is doing a phenomenal job of creating a booming economy considering he has no political experience. He's a smart businessman WHO SURROUNDS HIMSELF WITH THE BEST PEOPLE. (Like all smart businessmen) Just because this president tweets his own tweets doesn't mean he's the only one running the show. Folks like you need to calm down. He's not THAT bad. :angered:

It is you that does not observe the big picture - and some of the people he has surrounded himself with are human garbage.

I gave you a general list of violations that Trump is guilty of in a previous post - ones that qualify him as a tried and true Establishment wonk.

Would you like more specific examples under any particular heading ?

It tells you that the other Democrats are too repulsive for Vermonters to vote for.
