The firearms that will be banned under the bill are

All AKs and ARs plus all firearms that consist of the same parts as well as all firearms built for the military since the year 1900

Handguns/Pistols, single bullet load hunting rifles and Revolvers will be exempt from this bill.

If there are any minors in the house the firearms will be required to be disabled when transporting the weapon.

 

How would such actually be implemented if the legislature of the state simply refuses to vote to pass the matter? What if the proposal is voted down, in essence the majority of the legislature saying that the matter will never be allowed to be passed, or even considered for passage?

 

Fixing the roads, making sure everyone has access to clean water, putting the power and phone cables underground so you don't lose connection during a thunderstorm.

Giving statewide funding for schools, allowing meals for children who don't have food at home all though the summer and school breaks, free community college or trade school.

Universal housing, $15 minimum wage with price freezes, 2 weeks paid leave, Universal healthcare (Michigan care), fixing the adoption/foster care system

Make fully electric cars affordable, 100% employment through government jobs. and more.

That raises the standard of living. Losing the right to own some big guns is a small price to pay.

 

What of the semi-automatic pistols and revolvers that were built for use by the military? Will they be prohibited since they were built for the military, or will they be exempt since they are not rifles? What of the pump-action shotguns utilized by the military?

 

That's where barganing comes in. I am certain I could get it passed if the democrats win.

That thought is also why I am going to try super hard to get the speaker of the house position so that I can demand they pass that bill in exchange for passing another bill.

As long as the pistol has a capacity of less than 30 bullets per "clip" it will be allowed. Shotguns and other long guns will be prohibited.

Basically any gun that requires 2 hands to use other than the hunting rifles will be prohibited.

The military use rule does not apply to hand guns/pistols/revolvers

It's only unconstitutional if the law is struck down. If the courts ignore it then its constitutional.
