Seymour Hersh is pretty much as has been.. He hasn't done much investigative reporting in two decades.. Now he just indulges in rumors and speculation.

News to me. He just penned an OP in some British news outlet in regards to the poisonings in the UK.

I witnessed Murray break this story about the source of wilkileaks in 2016, and then also witnessed the blackout in MSM instantly. Given who Murray is, and his whistle blowing as Ambassador, he has never been anything but credible.

That MSM didn't even investigate his exclamations nor has he ever been mentioned, and we never heard another word from him. He didn't break the story and then just shut up, he was blacked out of even mentioning his name. This is verifiable, not some tin foil hat conspiracy theory.

Sure it is possible that Murray is a kook, but that isn't his history and he is an old man. Or it could be he is a straight shooter, and was the mule for the DNC emails, taken in a Washingon DC park, at night, as he skipped the meal gathering of VIPS where he was supposed to attend. That is the story coming from Ray McGovern of VIPS, combined with what Murray revealed when he broke the story that was blacked out after first a UK news source covered it and it was picked up by RT. Those are the only two places that I have seen it, and fairly quickly once he broke the story. All you heard from american MSM was crickets. If this isn't worth investigating by the MSM, then what is?

Well, this story from a credible source, Murray, contradicted what intel was saying as well as both parties who jumped on the russians provided wilkileaks with the hacked emails. Looks as if MSM were perhaps told by the CIA to shut the hell up and not introduce a contrary story. This is my assumption, and not fact, this last part. But it is a valid assumption and not tin foil hat thinking, for we know that our CIA affects much of the foreign press. And it is a rational assumption to think that they also have influence upon our MSM. And very probable that this still goes on even if they claimed to have stopped this when they officially ended that program. Historical record here.

Assange has said that his source was not russian. He offered a precedent setting reward for info leading to finding the perps who murdered Rich. In the next breath he stated that whistle blowers can be in danger. It is not conspiracy thinking to entertain the idea he was telling the world Rich was his source, while not specifically saying it, given he has never given the names of his sources. He went way out on the limb when he said what he said. So, you have Ray McGovern saying he thinks Murray met his informer and leaker and did not attend a gathering because of it, and you have Murray who says he knows the whistle blower and it is not russian, and you have assange saying it was not russian, and then offering a reward to help find the Rich murderers. Rich worked for the DNC and could have downloaded the emails on a thumb drive, and gave it to Murray to take to the UK and wilkileaks. It is not only plausible, it is possible. And yet the blackout in MSM.

I see an incoherence in this entire deal, and where those exist that is smoke indicating a possible fire and NO ONE in the establishment has even researched it. Instead they ignored it. When something does not make sense, is not rational, then it doesn't take a tin foil hatter to see something is wrong with the picture. Just takes a healthy mind with the ability to actually work properly, something demanded by the evolution of human beings. Unhealthy minds will of course lump these astute intellects into the tin foil hat crowd. As a way to dismiss them, which was the intention of the CIA when they coined the term conspiracy theorist.

Yeah.. Murray had a complete mental breakdown.. I posted a link about this trials and tribulations and going to work drunk.

First know use of the term conspiracy theory was 1871.

Then please give us some credible links to evidence it.

And I guess second was when the CIA used that term? We know why the CIA would have done it. They are masters of manipulation. Part of the job, or the job they do these days.

They didn't ignore him, they rebuked him as a liar, using evidence. Pretty big difference.

I just googled it and got this...

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2004/jul/15/foreignpolicy.uk

Seems like he was admitted for depression. And once you read what happened prior to this incident, it is no surprise Murray would not have been depressed, and healthily paranoid, given what he did in busting out our CIA.

This occurred in 2004. His depression problem, which does not entail a "complete mental breakdown" as you called it. So a bit of hyperbole is serving you?

In 2006 he won the Sam Adams award.

    http://www.johnkiriakou.com/u-s-denies-entry-to-former-british-ambassador-craig-murray/

So IMO, your attempt to dismiss this man, as you did, failed. The man's wife left him, because she allegedly did not want to be shamed, and that was going on from the establishment that he blew the whistle on. I can imagine he feared for his life, and anyone in his position might do so rationally, given what was involved. The fact that he broke a story which could once again possibly make him fear for his life in 2016, shows he isn't shutting up, driven by fear. MSM blacked it out. Yes, whenever this happens the astute intellect has to ask questions. Given the world that we actually live in and as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz famously said, "we are not in kansas anymore". Only some of us live mentally in kansas, the naive, who for whatever reason will not recognize reality for what it is. And yet all of the info is public record, that lays out why this isn't kansas, Dorothy's kansas. I guess people have to run away from it in order to believe in kansas?

We live in a reality that is not the one you think exists, nor is it the reality of the tin foil hat crowd either. It lies in between, because of human nature and the effects of power upon those in power. You are on the extreme just as the tin foil hat crowd are on the other extreme. Both lead to ignorance protecting stupidity, IMO.

Without seeing his evidence? ha ha. Since you nor I, nor anyone else outside of wilkileaks has seen his evidence, one has to discard what you stated into file 13. Question is, what has kept you from doing that? Mama tell you to do it? Or someone else. Do tell!

Wait, are you one of those people who believe your gov't has never lied to you, nor will never do that? That would of course explain it. P.T. Barnum told us about these sorts, once upon a time. I don't want to be an American Sucker myself, given anyone who has kept up with their own gov't and its intel knows damn well both lie to the People. Some of us just develop amnesia, and some of us cannot do that.

Please, assange can release it whenever he feels. Instead: hot air, contrary to all the evidence.

You seem easily fooled, conflating"a shred of doubt " with"proof that is false." People have been praying on this human flaw since time immemorial.

Not at all. He remains in full control of his faculties. It's just that his witness testimony doesn't fit with the deep state narrative, so those who believe the Russia-gate nonsense have to make things up about him using old style Soviet techniques (HERE).

Thanks. But my question was what evidence was there to support that conclusion?

    Get your facts right.

They ignored Assange's offer to prove it wasn't the Russians.

You have to weigh and test someone's evidence before you can make any conclusions on it. Ignoring it altogether is a travesty.

This was likewise true for Kim Dotcom's offer's to prove it wasn't the Russians.

Ditto Ambassador Craig Murray witness testimony that he took personal delivery of the leaked emails from the DNC servers during a visit to Washington.

That's three different people who had proof of what actually happened, who have been peremptorily ignored.

They have also ignored expert intelligence officers witness testimony from former top NSA insider, William Binney, and his associates in VIPS, about a forensic analysis they undertook about the Guccifer 2 data and proved from the metadata that it was captured on a storage device at much higher speeds that is even possible over the internet. In other words it was a leak and not a hack (HERE).

It's amazing what you can claim when you select the evidence to suit a predetermined conclusion.

Wikileaks is fake, Jeanette. They put out some relevant torture files from the Bush days, and some Iraq reports in the Guardian to attract an audience, which the NYT heavily redacted. (red flag, psyops) Then the fake Left says see Obama was better. Most of what Wikileaks puts out is useless, or readily reported 6 times over by the Anti-War Movement way before them. Some Wikileaks are intentional misdirection, disinfomation as any document can be faked (see Mueller).

And Robert Parry was average, Jeannette. Give yourself a lot more credit. You keep track of dozens of sources, and like the best work of any true grassroots movement is always done by unpaid bloggers, yourself for example. Parry was bandied about, but did a lot of obvious analysis. His supposed credentials came from his "Iran-Contra" reporting back in the day. I meticulously followed that in the 1980s, watched the hearings, his name never came up. Robert Parry was also a 'Republican only' impeachment guy 95% of the time. But as we both know, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Obama,Hillary all deserved impeachment, removal from office and jail for illegal wars, lying to get America involved in said wars, and war crimes. Robert Parry, like Code Pink never says this.

Neither does Wikileaks, Seymour, Snowden, Assange, Sanders, Hannity, Dobbs, Cooper, Maddow, Olberman, Michael Moore, Ray McGovern, Bradley Manning, Demcracy Now,Greenwald, Barret Brown, Sibel Edmonds,Laura Inghram, Jeremy Scahill, Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld, and Obama,Hillary all deserved impeachment, removal from office and jail for illegal wars, lying to get America involved in said wars, and war crimes, as we both know, and again is a red flag.

This is how created and manipulated splinter groups like the 'Progressives' Medea Benjamin
parallel Left, astroturf controlled dissent lead Anti-War Movement back to the Democrat Party no matter how many millions they kill in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Af-Pak combined. America has been in Afghanistan bombing, torturing, shooting since the 1980s. Democrats never tried to stop CIA William Casey back then, Obama didn't stop our boys from dying in Af-Pak in 2008-2016. Code Pink say 'impeachment,' no.

Did Michael Moore, Robert Parry say no more massacres. Impeach Obama the SOB for Libya mass slaughter. A three man Congressional delegation came back from Libya and said the country had been "bombed back to the stone age." Peter B. Collins another celebrated host like Edmonds ever say "put Hillary in jail" no. Parallel Left, astroturf controlled dissent always tells you to vote more, to keep supporting, and stay back to the Democrat Party.

Look at your "anti-establishment" rebel rockers and musicians coming online saying "Impeach Trump" from Tom Morello, Snoop, Kirk Hammett, all these guys in the Heavy Metal or Pop Music saying all this Trump derision, and stuff.

Pres. Trump did not come into the WH and extend Afghanistan first thing, like Obama did. Afghanistan was already set to be extended to 2022 by the Joint Chiefs under Obama. Pres. Trump did not massacre a bunch of civillians by endless 28,000 a year airstrikes, like Obama did in Iraq, Syria, Libya and shipping weapons all over creation to terrorists. Obama, and Hillary did.

Parry broke the Iran-Contra story and was a Pulitzer prize finalist. He won the George Polk Award for Mational Reporting and was awarded the I F Stone medal for for Journalistic Independence as well as the Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism.

Compare that to the great majority of journalists who don't even get one recognition; they are average. He most assuredly wasn't. He was a top rated American journalist.

Quite right One Mind. Churchill had his "black dog" too.

In the case of Murray, his whistleblowing against Tony Blair, Jack Straw and the Foreign Office, et all on their knowledge of torture (and use of intelligence resulting from torture) and rendition was recently vindicated in a Parliamentary Report (HERE).

I noted the final bullet-point in the DM link:

    • Murray is a controversial figure who was relieved of his post as British ambassador amid allegations of misconduct but is close to Wikileaks
It occurred to me that if the government wonk who was responsible for relieving Mr Murray of his post were to be asked exactly what the er allegations (that word alone speaks volumes??) entailed, would the reply be 'We don't comment on individual cases.', the usual '**** off and mind your own business.' rebuttal rolled out by governments to avoid answering awkward questions?

Now - you're getting it. Do you see how irrelevant Wikileaks, Seth Rich is in fixing the vote on Bernie, Hillary wars and other crimes ?

Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, Stephen Kol-bert, and Bill Maher, all got a hundred million dollars or more in the bank, like Keith Olberman is worth like $200 million like Rush and Hannity.

And yet - after all the Democrat, GOP led massacres in Iraq, Syria, and Libya, aided by the CIA, Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, Stephen Kol-bert, and Bill Maher are content to
let the Deep State CIA impeach Pres. Trump because he is a Republican ?

Michael Moore wants the Deep State CIA using Mueller to usurp power so they can escalate war with Russia, look at Google News all this demonizing Russia coverage.

Just like Maddow, Demcracy Now, CNN, NBC, CBS, NYT, all this demonizing Russia coverage.

Michael Moore wants the Deep State CIA to usurp power, remove Pres. Trump.

And Michael Moore knows damn well who runs Mueller, and orchestrates the press: the Deep State CIA

Michael Moore would rather let the Deep State CIA run the country, than
    Pres. Trump.

What does that tell you ?

Not really, I agree But it is more recently been regarded, under the international Convention Against Torture, as a war crime. The US is a signatory to this Convention and is the UK. The US hasn't ratified the Convention, whereas the UK has. Ergo what Blair, Brown and the others participated in was a war crime.
