    Didn't Rupert turn it over to his son Lachlan? I've heard a couple of rumors that Lachlan, who always locked horns with Roger Ailes over content, has less rabid right wing leanings and would like to make Fox a more respected news source. I guess we'll see.

    That timeslot has always been the hard news period and Smith was supposed to he a hard news anchor. It seems since Trump was elected he turned it into the I hate Trump report and even going after his fellow on air personalities and commentators. He is not a journalist. He may want to become one now on another network.

    A news anchor should be like all the one world Republic types, and Commie Pinko lovers, we never knew what they were till they retired and Yachted with the commie Clintons...; Shepard Smith can't open his mouth without the inflection injecting his opinion in every story, he belongs on MSNBC or CNN. The shows in the morning like that RINO on CNN and at night on the Foxy Blonde Legs Channel ARE NOT NEWS, they are opinion. Like Madcow, She is not a NEWS ANCHOR. If I want opinion I'll tune at night, news, tell me it like Brinkley or Cronkite...or a host of the old guys that could keep their opinion out of every fracking story.

    My Favorite since my viewing is flipping between CNN and MSNBC is the Emperor of the morning politics Joe Scarborough who I wanted to run for Senator or Governor in Connecticut.

    So if you want to accuse anyone of claiming these gebonees were news casters you need to bring proof. BTW you lost my respect and any form of credibility when you just spout out "commie, pinkos" just because you disagree with someone. There are Commies and pinko but you will never recognize them if you call 20% of the human population Commies and pinko. My family knew real communists in fact my grandfathers were sent to Siberia by Russians/Communists.     Calling Smith a liberal and/or a Trump "hater" is not a fact it is an opinion which you as well as I have every right to have. My opinion is that your opinion is wrong about Smith. Just because one disagrees with someone does not make the one who disagrees a hater.

    I have said it many times on this forum.

    Shepard Smith use to be a class A journalist reporter on Fox News.
    Nothing more than Who, What, Why, When and Where.

    But the day Shep came out of the closet was the day he abandoned journalism and started opining and commenting on the news.

    I've also have posted more than a few times on this forum that Shep wanted a gig over on CNN because he has goo goo eyes for Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon.
