    Clearly self defense. The prosecution is wrong in my opinion. Surely, there will be an appeal.

    I haven't seen a single poster defending Drejka berating the women illgally parked.

    What puzzles me, is your insistence that any man would have reacted with a violent assault, to a wack job arguing with his woman.

    You honestly seem to believe most guys would do the same, (although you claim to feel it's wrong) , yet justify it with, "boys will be boys" after all...

    Point is... dude would not be dead if he had more self control, a more mature aditude and ANY common sense concerning the safety of his family and himself.

    You seem to feel the more important point is who started it. Like a child whining , "but he started it!

    Guess he lost that game of" I got you last".

    You are halfway correct. The adult in the room was supposed to be the 48 year old shooter. He failed that test.

    You can't be serious. Mental illness walks among us. Are you telling me, if you saw some guy shouting at your fam in the car, you would just rush up and knock the guy to to the ground with absolutely no regard for the chit show, or danger you'd be exposing you family to?

    No, it really isn't. Was it the best response? No. Did he deserve to die because it wasn't the best response? Again, no.

    Truth is I don't know exactly what my response would be to emerge from a shop seeing a guy shouting at my girlfriend with my young kids in the car.

    Did he overreact? Would I? At 28? Yeah, probably. And that got him killed. Luckily, the jury found the shooter guilty of manslaughter, and I don't see an appeal reversing that decision.

    It was a bad shoot..

    Again, I don't see anyone debating if he "deserved to die". Just that if not for his own violent actions he wouldn't have.

    It looked to me, like he was prepared to beat the chit out of the shooter, just as his lovely woman said he would, and he didn't even really back off when he saw a gun. (Hope springs eternal!), only after he got shot . I guess that quelled his need to be all manly.

    While I agree the prosecution got it wrong, the guy was clearly a nut job who pulls a gun on traffic offenders. So I dont see a preemptive strike as such a bad thing. But I have feeling he's not going to get a harsh sentence. Regretfully.

    He'd already knocked him down. The only way a fight was gonna break out is if the shooter got back up and started one. You can't kill someone just cuz you were being an ass and got yourself pushed to the ground.

    Point is the man would be alive if Drejka wasn't out looking for a confrontation.

    Funny that folks like you seem to want to give Drejka a pass and pass the buck onto someone else instead of placing the blame where it belongs.

    People should never be charged with resisting arrest because they are simply exercising their right to self defense against thug cops who are grabbing them.
