    So you can tell the difference between a man in a woman's dress wearing make up and very cleanly shaven?

    But you aren't looking at their groin or the DNA?

    That is what gender is. It is the expression of sex. And I don't mean self expression as in wearing make up and a dress if you're a bloke. It is the physical manifestation of sexual hormones.

    It is absolutely tied to sex, but it can be divergent as well. Masculine women sand feminine men and androgynous people. Also prepubescent children are hard to discern without clothing and behavioral ques because they haven't developed secondary sexual characteristics.

    I don't buy the crap about gender being socially constructed. It's largely biological.
