There is no such thing as basic human rights unless somebody creates them and enforces them. Therefore, the right to own a gun only exists because it was created and enforced by the people through the government. Since that right was created by the people through the government, it can be removed by the people through the government. Don't take this to mean that I oppose the 2nd amendment because I don't. As far as expanding the size of the court, or rotating SCOTUS judges with lower-level court judges as I've also seen suggested, benefits Republicans as much as Democrats. Both parties, when they have the White House and enough support in Congress, appoint judges with whom they have ideological agreements. The evidence suggested it was possible and we know for a fact that Russia got involved in our election to the benefit of Donald Trump, just without his assistance or participation. It was absolutely worthy of investigation. People jumping the gun and making assumptions that the facts did not support after the investigation is nothing new. Yet another thing that both parties engage in. If I recall, Trump got elected in part because of his promises to "lock her up" when no court of law had found Clinton guilty of anything. 1. That is NOT what our constitution says or means. If you think that is true. You do not understand the most basic thing about our constitution.. i mean THE most basic thing. The bill or rights is an acknowledgement of SOME of the rights that belong to man predating any governing body.. It is not a list of rights granted to the people by thr federal government.. That is the most thing the constitution has to say.
