The american people are sick of politicians as you know from this last election, they wanted change. Globalists have done our country no favors.

If you still think she was a good candidate, I feel sorry for you. It means you all still haven't learned a damn thing from the election. You don't nominate
Well, NYC was always bad, so that doesn't surprise me?:blankstare:

She was a hundred times better than the disgrace to humanity you put up. How you will ever live down the overall shame of having nominated the worst candidate for the position of POTUS in all of America's history is something I don't know and hope is never found out, for it should stay with your party forever, an albatross around your necks that drags your false and cruel ideology to the depths of a well-deserved oblivion and marginalized obscurity. A hundred years from now modern Trumpist Republicans should be remembered as a barely noticed footnote in history texts, a cautionary aside, the perversion of a once noble and admirable political party destroyed by nominating as President one of the most total moral reprobates then existing.

The American POTUS is a unique position among the leaders of nations. His power is so great that it requires we find and a elect a truly Great Man to the office. It is a monumental task and never have we failed at it so utterly at as we have now

Those Republicans who want to get elected will be running on a platform of law and order, the rule of law, securing the border, building a wall on our southern border, rounding up and deporting criminal illegal aliens like MS-13, rebuilding and repairing our military, anti political correctness, anti globalism, anti oligarchy, defending the Second Amendment, jobs, rebuilding America's industrial base and MAGA.

I think Republicans who want to be elected very easy convince American poorly educated voter that permanent tax cut for the wealthy is good, temporary tax cut for the rest of America is even better, tax loopholes like carried interest or real estate loopholes are patriotic duty, and it Makes America Great Again when President Trump family makes millions using their connections to the goverment. And the classic way to drain the swamp is: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/5/15/17355202/trump-zte-indonesia-lido-city

You are aware that the state with the largest number of low information and misinformed voters is California where 2/3 of the voters went to the polls who voted for Jerry Brown's and Kamala Harris's Prop 57 that would make raping an unconscious girl a non violent crime and assault and battery would no longer be a violent the crime. The same voters were the same voters who voted for Hillary Clinton in California.

Anyone who lives in the hermit kingdom of California noticed all of the political commercials leading up to the primary election two weeks ago that all of the Democrats who were running for office ran commercials where the only message was "immigrants" (illegal aliens) and obstructionsism and sedition against the federal government and the Trump administration. Not once did any of the these Democrats mentioned America, Americans or the working middle class, not once.

The Democratic party has become the party of obstructionism, illegal aliens, protecting criminals and protecting MS-13.

It is amazing that every time I point why Republicans don't care about majority of America, the standard response is "Democrats sucks too" and the conclusion is " we will vote for Republicans". Yes, I agree, Democrats and Republicans don't care, and this is the reason I will not vote them. But if you care about Republican party, demand that they will take care not only of the wealthy.

In 2016 the GOP establishment opposed candidate Donald Trump along with the international oligarchy.

It was the white working middle class and "fly over America" who put Trump into the White House.

The Democratic party threw whites and the middle class under the bus during the 1990's.

The Democratic party today is only concerned with wealth redistribution or creating new “rights” for alleged victims such as illegal aliens, criminals, union members, homosexuals, transgenders and other “oppressed” protected groups including MS-13. The American middle class hasn't had representation by the Democratic party for over two decades now.

For the last 30 years, does not matter if the president or congress/senate majority was Republican or Democrat - the wealthy are getting richer while the rest stays the same, even when productivity is growing. I blame Democrats and Republicans - you have the right to blame Democrats only.
BTW - I am not against helping less fortunate Americans - some people call it "wealth transfer". I never saw Democrats defend MS-13, but it is very smart Republican policy to lie that Democrats support MS-13 - it gives the valid reason to poorly educated to vote for Republicans - maybe Republicans does not care poorly educated income or health care, abut they are against MS-13.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi responded to President Trump calling violent MS-13 gang members "animals," at her weekly press briefing Thursday morning. Pelosi says Trump's comments as reported are a new low, and make her wonder if the president believes "we are all God's children" or not.

"When the president of the United States says about undocumented immigrants, 'these are not people, these are animals,' you have to wonder, does he not believe in the spark of divinity? In the dignity and worth of every person? 'These are not people, these are animals,' from the president of the United States."

"Every day you think you've seen it all, along comes another manifestation of why their policies are so inhumane," she said.

"Calling people animals is not a good thing," she said, before ending the news conference and walking out.

MS-13 is a bogeyman that Trump uses to frighten his most hysterical followers into terrified submission. As this thread shows, the tactic works on that crowd.

In response, we Democrats point out that no person who possesses a spine would want to be associated with such a sub-beta crowd.

So, Trump gets the pajama boi demographic, we get the normal people. Sounds like a win for Democrats.

Addressing the thread title: Democrats should only skip the 2020 election IF there is no stock market crash by October of 2019. Why then? Because primaries begin early in 2020 and September to October is usually the time when something bad is most likely to happen to the economy if something indeed does happen.

Let me also take this opportunity to make a declaration here. If the circumstances I am about to state are in place on January 21st 2019, I will stop my refraining from uttering the Presidents name and start using the Presidents five letter surname in my forum posts and I will sit in a room quietly and think long and hard about my political persuasion. If I cannot wrap my mind around a new political persuasion, I will quit American politics all together.

Here are my conditions for doing what I say I will do on January 21st:

    1. There has been no stock market crash 2. The President is still in office 3. The United States has not invaded or bombed another country it has not previously (looking at Iran)

    He Has!

    Just look.
Opening North Korea to talks is a major step.
And people have jobs. Especially those usually facing higher unemployment, females and Black people.

What did Clinton - Bush Jr. - Obama do?
Help dissolve the Middle Middle Class.
    Isolate North Korea. etc.

Unless the Democrats can find effectual leadership favoring working people over Welfare people, maybe they should just give up on 2020.
I do believe Bernie would have been effectual to these ends.

Wrong. So soon you conveniently forget. If the average American counted trump wouldn't be president. Remember, he was elected by the Electoral College, not the citizen vote count. So again you have to ask yourself who's out of touch.

If Bernie had run we would have lost the popular vote too.

ALL of those things are mainly due to Obama. Trump simply hasn't been in office long enough to have anything like those effects. Presidents can't even wipe their asses for at least the first two years and mostly more

John Wayne was a really good actor. Much more talented and versatile than he was given credit for. (The War Wagon deserved an Oscar IMO) But as a commentator on social issues he was no great shakes.

I'm not saying that Trump didn't do these things because he's such a terrible President, (though he is) I'm saying NO President could have done them, not in the time he's been given. We don't have a dictatorship, the government acts indirectly in most cased, particularly in regard to economics. It takes TIME for anyone, any government action to have any effect on things. Trump hasn't had nearly enough time to really effect anything. Obama is still the main cause of things and will be for some time to come

Trump uses a business model and is not afraid to play musical chairs with his staff.
He was effectual with Kim of N.K. via staff preparing a better foundation with Kim's
    staff than is usual.
YOU gotta give Trump credit for getting N.K. to the peace table.
That was more than Clinton - Bush Jr.- Obama were able to gain.

I take it you give no credit to Trump for nothin'. Si?
    ____________________________________________

    Wrong Again.
John Wayne's greatest film was "Stagecoach" 1939
Angel and the Badman & The Searchers are also among his best.
And Oscar for The War Wagon would have been a gift for his total works,
not on the merits of that film.

But, trouble is, do they have anyone who isn't unpopular?

If they don't learn the lessons of the last election, and soon, they may as well not even show up.

There are millions of families that would throw their coffee in your face for thinking MS13 isn't a massive domestic threat.

Shall we cite the MS13 history?
