There is nothing in your COVID story that indicates that hydroxychloroquine was responsible for any beneficial effect. Most COVID patients do survive, for example.

Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectine will NOT be studied by BigPharma because the patent has ran out on both of them so there is insufficient profit motive for any BigPharma company to study either of them.

I respectfully submit the Honorable Nancy Pelosi. She is competent above all and has more than once shown herself a True Believer in Enlightenment values.

 

That does not mean that these products aren't undergoing valid clinical testing under the watchful eye of the world of medicine, including the FDA.

Blaming "BigPharma" for not testing these drugs isn't causing them to not be tested.

And, we need to remember that valid clinical testing takes significant time and effort. The COVID vaccines we had were tested for more than 9 months through 3 complete phases of testing BEFORE they even got emergency approval. (Since then, the Pfizer vaccine got full approval due to successful completion of the fourth and final test phase.)

The idea of officially promoting drugs that have not had valid clinical testing to ensure efficacy is something that should just plain NOT happen.

It is a move to homeopathy, where there is NO testing and where there are NO standards of any kind.

I have never suggested that people who disagree can't work on projects together.

When I've disagreed with you on projects such as watering the Sahara, I've pointed to specific issues that make that not a possible direction - I haven't based that on some root disbelief or religious objection.

Of course, I don't accept any of your past lives, coming back from the dead with exceptional knowledge, and other religious beliefs. But, those beliefs don't preclude us making progress on certain objectives.

It must still be possible to accept things like our economic system, physics, and other concrete that we have to work within if progress is desired.

For a real world example, I've pointed out how those opposed to abortion can work together with those who favor women's autonomy over their own bodies on the objective of reducing the abortion rate in America.
