No, but I also know that money wasn't being spent on homelessness that got rerouted to pay for illegal aliens. It's never been an either/or situation. The problem really lies not with having the money, but with those who are not choosing to spend the money on the thing you want them to. Because you don't like illegal immigration and because you see homelessness and hunger as problems(they are), you've created an association that simply does not exist.

Telling Americans to view other Americans as traitors is not fomenting violence of any kind in your world huh?

So basically there's no way to incite violence except to dumb down the language into an explicit form so obvious not even your mental gymnastics could stick a landing.

The NYT has to say: "Kill all Trump voters!" Or else it's " asinine".

    Lol okay buddy

Right because you think the Left is going to take up arms and start a war? Lol okay buddy. With what weapons is the Left going to go to war with? I thought the Left were the ones who want all guns banned? Now all of a sudden they are armed to the teeth? Lol okay buddy.

Got it, so anything less than civil war is not proof of incitement to violence in your world.

So not only does the NYT have to explicitly say "Kill Trump voters!", A civil war has to erupt for you to agree.

    Lol!

The argument put forth in the OP was about a civil war. I assumed you knew that. LOL.

Do you believe Trump incited violence on Jan 6? I don't. What say you?

Good so you agree it's incitement to violence, you have zero idea why the NYT is doing it, and should probably ask the OP what he means by "some sort" of civil war so you can discount it or not with a little bit more information on your part than what you personally imagine it to mean.

That you won’t answer my question shows your double standard. Can’t say I’m surprised.
What is it you think you are right about?

As was pointed out (but apparently ignored) in an earlier reply, this was a response to a question from a reader and the NYT writer specifically (and logically) countered the concept. I'd suggest that is the exact opposite of what you're accusing them of and better than simply not addressing the (sadly) very real attitude among some people (in all directions).

The headline was clearly written to trigger a strong response, but that's hardly unique to the NYT and (in part, because of that) only an idiot reacts to a headline without reading and understanding all of the actual content below it. The real problem here is too many idiots.

Seems I'm right. Your only beef is what you imagine civil war to mean, which is why I told you you should ask the OP about.

Not only will you not answer my question but you can’t even tell me what you’re “right” about. Hahahahahaha.

Just saying I agree with you doesn’t make it so. You haven’t specifically said what I supposedly agree with you on. You also won’t answer my question about Trump inciting violence on Jan 6. We both know why….your double standard.

What part of "everything" is non specific to you? It's specifically everything.

I've explained your bad position both with respect to you believing the NYT is
inciting as well as you thinking they arent. And you're saying you don't agree with me on anything.

So your current position seems to be: The NYT is inciting violence and not inciting violence depending on which one I feel lets me keep arguing with Tipper. Lol!

Are you ok? Where did I say NYT is inciting violence? Please show the post where I stated NYT is inciting violence. I’ll wait.

And by apologist you are doubtlessly referring to Trump voters so how is it that you would " hold them accountable down the road " ?

Are you taking credit for understanding my post??? Hahaha…um, ok…good for you that you were able to figure out that I don’t think the author was trying to incite violence. Just like I don’t believe Trump tried to incite violence on Jan 6. That’s called being consistent. Unlike you who has a double standard where you believe the author was trying to incite violence but don’t think Trump incited violence.

Exactly so, you think the only way it could be incitement is if the NYT says "Kill all Trump voters!" , and you need it to result in full scale civil war before you'll agree. Heck, you probably need every soldier to sign a declaration that they're only waging war because the NYT told them to.

    Thanks again!

And there you go again putting words in my mouth. I wasn’t the one who made the civil war claim. You need to take that up with the OP.
Your anger is directed at the wrong person.

So it’s not incitement but yet it is? Whatever lets you argue with tipper more?
