    So you accept the idea of group responsibility. I must tell you that the UN rejects that idea. Also, I reject the idea that I am responsible for the actions of people whose closest connection to me was that we shared a skin color.

    I think you addressed your reply to the wrong person. I am not a flaming leftist. I do not care to be 'saved'. Push comes to shove, statistically I can probably claim a share of 'reparations' for myself.

    Who says your ancestors would have left you a penny had they remained in Africa?
    Who says your ancestors would have saved up anything to leave you (most families don’t)?
    What about your ancestors wealth that came about by selling their family into slavery in the first place, is that subtracted?

    You make an awfully large amount of assumptions.

    Your ancestors fought for freedom and equality, they would probably be sad that you are fighting for free stuff that you didn’t earn or deserve.
