I think I will make French toast out of cinnamon raisin bread this morning.

Today is my Sunday. I am one day ahead of everyone else.

Next week I am scheduled to work Sunday thru Thursday, so again one day ahead.

Because talking politics at a site named Political Forums
is considered almost a mortal sin.Definately more than a Venial sin.
I fail to see or comprehend the logic.
It is in effect almost the same Sin Donald Trump has
committed by becoming President.According to nutbags
    like Whoopi Goldberg.

The bar is a place to escape politics and to get to know people regardless of their political position.

So then by going to a site Named Political Forums is a great
place to escape politics. Its like asking someone who watched :
    - Leave it to Beaver - { 1957 } a very good year ...
Hay Mom,how come no beaver on that show.?
Well Harold, you just have to learn to be patient.
I'm sure Mrs.Cleaver will get around to changing into her
negligee sometime after The Beav is tucked into bed.
Okey Dokey ma,but I am counting on that.

Hush up, Foolie. Drink your coffee and try not to dribble it down your shirt this time.

Alright, you healthy eaters influenced me (temp, Im sure). I went to Cox Farms Market today and spent fifty bucks on fresh produce. $4.99 lb for fresh shelled purple hull peas, about $1 each for East Texas tomatoes, squash (picked this morning), turnip greens, Pecos cantaloupe & huge watermelon & Texas peaches . Misc goodies like Miss Annies cole slaw and bottle of pickle juice for a friend who suffers leg cramps.

If Im not healthy after eating all this good stuff, its pizza tomorrow. ;)

If I flex really hard I can see my six pack. Just barely but I can see it!! LOL! But it is nice to see it peeking out again.

I've discovered something interesting: People are nicer to you when you start looking buff. True story! As I get fit again, more and more people make a point to interact and be friendly, esp women, but men too. [I mean down at the pool and in the weight room]

I had been experimenting with spices to liven up my super-food salads. I use vinegar and oil for dressing and put on pepper, in addition to other spices. So I thought, well if pepper, why not red pepper. Hey, that works! It's pretty good. So then I thought, well if vinegar and red pepper work, why not Tabasco. Tabasco is just red pepper and vinegar. Sure enough, I like it! So now I'm putting Tabasco on my salads.

We had goats. :D 4 Pygmies. I used to have head butting contests [really head pushing contests] with one when he was young - he didn't have horns yet. He was so cool about it. He would stand on a ledge that put him at eye level with me. I would put my head down and he would slowly move in until our heads touched. Then he would push for all he was worth. As he got bigger I could barely stand my ground. But he loved it! Afterward he would get all excited, run up on top of the dog house [It was big enough for about 8 animals and had a ramp so they could sit on the roof] and leap off. Run back up and leap off. He thought he was tough stuff. Soooooo funny!!!

We got two at first and then bred the female. When the babies were born [my wife and I helped delivered them], all of the locals said the dogs would kill them. They all lived in the same dog/goat house. But in fact just the opposite. The one dog was very protective. In fact so much so that she would clean them [licking] and wouldn't even let the mother back in until she was done. Poor mom would sit outside objecting but the dog would run her off if she tried to come in. Once the dog was done bathing them, she let them rejoin their mother.

We had dogs, cats, sheep, goats, cows, a rabbit, and an Arabian horse on the property over the years. That damned horse almost killed me [barely missed kicking me in the head] but it was fun for a time.

When that horse almost got me, it was so close that I could hear the wind from each hoof, right next to each of my ears. Both hooves missed my head by no more than an inch or two.

But you haven't lived until you've chased 4 goats around at 3AM. Damned escape artists. They learned to sense the pulses in the electric fence by putting their noses very close to one of the wires, and then run through between pulses.

Once my head-pushing buddy started getting buds I had to be careful. But he seemed to understand and kept those off my head. I was always a little worried that one day he would butt me hard, but he never did.

As for the fawn, I found that deer respond to eye blinks like cats and dogs do. A long slow blink or two means all is well - there is no threat. But fast blinks are playful. I had mastered the body language necessary to approach them. But the fast blinks are what got the fawn. I got close, gave a couple of fast blinks when we were making eye contact, and he or she got all excited and ran towards me. Two more blinks and he ran towards me again. I couldn't believe it!!!
