I've had a rather interesting interaction going with a young woman and her parents, in the gym. She is a very pretty Asian woman, I would guess about 20 years old but it's hard to tell with Asians. They often look young for their age. Both of her parents are Caucasian. I assume they are her parents but I'm not sure. They act like a family and are always together. I often see them when I go down to workout.

I've caught her looking at me many times and wondered if she's just curious about something, or actually checking me out. One thing us older guys playing the field know is that Asian women and some others, are often open to relationships with much older men. It's cultural. Since she seems to have Caucasian parents I assume she was adopted and raised here, so it doesn't seem likely she has strong cultural influences. But who knows. She could be an exchange student or something like that as well. And some women just like older men. So this was all in the back of my mind and I've been wondering. But over time it is becoming more and more clear that she is checking me out. She is constantly watching me in the mirror. I catch her looking every few minutes when I glance at the mirrors.

Yesterday I did my swim and caught some sun and was heading out, when I ran into her and her presumed father. As soon as she saw me she gave a big smile and lit up. Okay, I know I didn't imagine that one! Just then her father came around the corner behind her, saw me and almost scowled. He does the treadmill and is completely focused on the display, so I seriously doubt he has seen any of the looks flashing back and forth between his daughter and I. And I haven't been giving her THE look. I just glance up and see her looking. So I have to wonder if she has said something. I surely didn't initiate anything here. In fact I've gone out of my way to interact in a friendly manner with the parents and not the daughter; just saying hello, or have a great workout, or you all have fun! That sort of thing.

I said hello to him and asked about their workout today. He tried to ignore me as much as possible. But the daughter made a point to move towards me and said hello. So now I find myself trying to figure out how to get a chance to talk with her alone and get a better feel for things. And of course I don't want to end up with an angry father on my hands. But she is very pretty and it's hard to ignore the potential. At this point I'm almost 100% certain she's interested. And I've always had a thing for Asian women, as do most Caucasian men on the make. It's actually the number one fetish for white men, after feet [interestingly enough].

I have to be very careful but don't want to pass on the opportunity. He dresses and handles himself like someone who is highly liberal, which is a good sign I won't end up with dad standing at my door with a gun. And I don't want to create a mess here. But she is the one who started it! And she's so cute!!!

My sb and I have an open arrangement so I'm not betraying a trust. And she isn't going to fall in love with me so this is a finite relationship. I'm free to pursue whatever other interests may come along. But this one has me a bit stumped. The young woman is almost certainly interested but I can't figure out an excuse to talk with her alone. I'm almost inclined to try to slip her my business card with a note on the back so she can text me. I actually keep a few on hand at all times that say on the back "I'd love to meet for coffee. Text me?" LOL!!! Always at the ready! I've missed opportunities where a card and a note would have fixed it. So I made a point to have a few cards ready to hand out on a moment's notice.

What a game this is. Such a life.

sugar babies are smooth as tennessee whiskey, sweet as stawberry wine, and warm as a glass of brandy.

the storm appears to be coming away from the ocean, which has real salt. high pressure comes from fake salt, so this is a man made storm by the government. (chemtrails from cloud seeding by military planes, not contrails by private planes)

fake salt, like table salt that is processed by the corporations far inland, raises pressure. heads up to anyone in the vicinity, do not breath the air outside. i recommend a HEPA air filter for indoor purified air.

I had to send the full text of that quote to my sb. What a wonderful quote! We can both relate. She's a fighter and a free spirit blazing her own trails.

That sometimes there is a thrill in the agony of Defeat.
The thrill in knowing you are being true to yerself. Not the
fashionable acquiescing to public norms and procedures.
That maybe the good fight is merely being youself with all
lulls and voids of good properness.Knowing inwardly
that your character { however different and unaccustomed to
convention } has to live with yerself. That strength is of
different measures and mores. That merely living to be proper
and respectable can pay a heavy price on one's sanity.
That sometimes appearing crazy is a normal and healthy
function of Man as rational animal.
" Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives
they must live. " -- Charles Bukowski
" Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance.
Of how much you really want to do it.And you'll do it,despite
rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything
else you can Imagine. If you're going to try,go all the way. There is
no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the
nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter.
It's the only good fight there is." -- Factotum

You have no idea how much that rings true. When I had my moment of truth, when survival or not became the only remaining issue and the only remaining choice, salvation was found by abandoning everything I had ever been taught or believed, and being true to myself.

It was in its own way an amazing experience. A lifetime of beliefs melted away in a moment. And the next moment I was a completely new man and a blank page. In a way you could say I died that night and was born again as an entirely new person.

I want to introduce you to a young lady who helped me though my darkest days. If you don't know her already, her name is Jackie Evancho. I happened upon a video of hers just after my brush with eternity, like the next day. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I can't really explain the effect she had on me except to say I needed a miracle, and there was one right before my eyes. She was 12 years old when she did this. I saw her right about that time. I watched her videos over and over again for months. They helped to give me peace of mind for the first time in a decade.

I was profoundly affected by the miracle of her music, so much so that I had to meet her and thank her. I asked if she had any idea why I would drive 500 miles to meet her. She sheepishly said no. I said, because you made me cry. For a moment she looked upset. Her handler saw this and gave me a very harsh look. But then Jackie broke out in a huge smile. She understood what I meant. I have a great photo of us together. They took the photo just as she broke out in a huge smile and leaned into me.

Unfortunately some of my absolute favorite performances from back then have been removed from You Tube. But this song is one of my favorites. I highly recommend getting a copy of her performance at Lincoln Center on PBS's Great Performances. Simply amazing!!! She was the youngest performer ever invited to Lincoln Center. And it still brings tears to my eyes to watch her.

I prefer her performance of this at Lincoln Center but it is one of my absolute favorites.

I introduced a friend of mine to her music and he too was profoundly moved. The other day he sent me this video of a new amazing young lady. But for this one you had better hold onto your seats.
