Oh that's nasty. Thanks for the clarification. It never ceases to amaze me what games millennials play.

You have to convince them that No means No regardless of how you say it.
"Did you do that?" means No - GJ.

But they can't do it with their paws.

Time to pan sear my rib eye steak.

I also bought A-1 Sauce to go with it.

Do you want to see some videos of what dogs can do? I just started browsing youtube when you said dogs couldn't do that. I found some crazy videos of dogs using their smarts to play fetch by themselves...throwing tennis balls and catching them. There's tons of videos.

I don't see cats doing anywhere near the same.

You're going to ruin a perfectly good steak with sauce? You don't trust your steak to be juicy????

They will stop destructive chewing when they know that is what you want them to do. Just say "no" and put a chew toy in their mouths - can take awhile.

Some damage is inevitable. Anyone who can't handle that should never own a dog or a cat.

With a different couple of cats, when I lived in Pennsylvania, Bud and Mickey (Budweiser and Michelob) would catch themselves a mouse or chipmunk, bring it in the house and play slam-squash with it on the hall wall. Seriously. I had to repaint that section of wall quite a few times, and clean the carpet too. They would bounce that poor little critter of the wall, long past it's expiration, but the thing would actually bounce....

I'm lucky for the most part. Aside from one pillow, this 3 year old pup hasn't done much chewing on anything that isn't a toy. He enjoys being in the back yard (what little one we have) by himself for a while, but as soon as he hears me walking around inside he starts begging to come back in.

Taking him for a drive in a few minutes just to go to the bank. They give out dog treats there I hear.

I like A1 sauce don't get me wrong. It's a good flavor but it takes away a lot of flavor from the steak itself. I thought my grandfather was going to shoot me when I asked for steak sauce once as a kid lol

A good steak does not need it, but you should try Steak Diane. Totally different steak experience.

    Smartie,

When you Diva chicks take a break from chopping wood and churning buttah this weekend, casually drop a hint that your yankee friends would like to come to karaoke night sometime.

    See what they say.
If its a go for it it will be epic.
We been practicin' really hard and we finally got this song slammin' down....lo...yO.

If anyone has 10 minutes and wants to laugh their ass off over a dude trolling on Play Station...

I can't imagine how this would have ended up if it were my Irish mother.

I would rather have chewed furniture and a dog that loves me than to scold him and have him cower. You can 't put a dollar amount on the love of a dog. They are precious. I love my dogs and I don't have a problem with them not wanting to please me unless, unless there is a squirrel within chasing distance. I can call them back and they would obey but who wants to spoil an attempt at catching a squirrel.;)

Did you see anything about scolding making a dog cower in my posts? I don't think so. ;-)
