One of the bluegill in my cement pond is guardians a nest on top of a flower pot in my pond. I have a smooth bottom on the pond and my plants are planted in flower pots with rocks and pea gravel on top. The nest is in a one gallon pot. Small nest compaired to the wild beds. If I get babies and any survive I will sort them for good growth rates and cull the rest.

I totally fail to see any use of levity in these most trying of times.
Keep in mind what happened in *Dallas to 5 cops.Barely a mention
made of that shocking example of what One disgruntled Black felt
the need to pull. Now cops all across this great land are targets.
Easy pickins. If the Left achieves their goal,of making cops out to be the
bad guys and therefore Cops either won't show up for duty or never
join the police. Then where are We.We'd probably be better off hiding
    in some pickle barrel.
Notice how Late Night TV isn't what it used to be.Even their crass
one-sided Political jokes at the expense of our President are now
jaded.Because we have entered the next phase.

    * The night of July 7,2016.Five Dallas officers killed and 9 wounded
during an ambush by a Former Army Reservist turned New Black Panther
    Party recruit.

You cant be consumed in whats going on. You will make yourself sick mentally and in turn physically. Enjoy the small, good things around you that you hardly ever notice. Fuel your spirit with those small wonderful things around you.
Course a little something extra in the coffee helps too. lol

That's the gist. There is no bright side.Things seem so surreal as to
make one lose normalcy. No longer interested in Eating out and
shopping and acting like normal neighbors. Most city dwellers are eyeballing
around to see where the next brick might originate.
How is one expected to feel like having lunch under such
conditions. There is no way to joke about any longer.
We are on the verge of Losing this Country.
Trust me ... If there was a bright spot I'd join in.

    Look to the future, Foolie.
Think of the potential for new/old business to be rived. Cool technology that will rive outdoor drive in movies and roller skating attractive busty women skating to your bike to bring your food order.
If I had a restaurant that had to shut down or just do take out Id have tables set up in the parking lot and an area for roller skating deliveries to the car.

Come on its not rocket science. Americans dont lay down in a crisis. We rise up to the challenge and always have. Theaters can easily set up outdoor areas to view movies with the technology their is now.

Those mostly black neighborhoods that got torched are never coming back.
No money will lift a finger to invest in such places.Short of a Bill Gates.
Who would mandate his plea for Vaccines.
    Therefore don't bother to ask ... :

They are definitely coming back over time. Ive seen it in the inner city. Gutted and burned out bad areas that are now beautiful areas with people who take pride in their neighborhoods. You cant stop nature from taking back what was taken from it.
Think about an asphalt parking lot that was abandoned. Over time, the weather and seasons deteriorate that lot and cracks open up. Vegetation springs up. An old house in the woods. Carefully crafted and left abandoned by the circle of human life. Nature takes that area back over time. Nature is a force that man cant match. As harsh as man can be, they cannot compete with nature. As beautiful as nature can be, man can not compete.
This will work out in the end. We may suffer huge loses and disappointments but in the end we are all a small part of the larger picture of nature. A force that is resilient. We are resilient.

Take a long ride on a shinny clean bike. Come home and have some bourbon and watch a movie that make you laugh. You got this. We got this. Nature got this.

I must say you shore pick the wrong time to go Unpolitical.
Politics is how our Country started. It is the mover and shaker for
how this country operates and will continue to operate.
Or Not.Take Politics out of the United States and yer no better
than some Little Old Lady living in a shoe.
    Are my thoughts.
Again this is PF ... Political Forum.
Not any PF ... Powderpuff Forum
But stuff like Food, music, girly chit chat and guys butts have to
have some place in and around the PF park.I guess.
Just a guess ... mind ya.

When I want to talk politics I will go elsewhere away from the bar. Actually I am too outraged to talk politics and it just makes me more angry.
I will do my talking at the ballot box. Thank you very much!!

The Little Old Lady who lived in the shoe who seemed very unpolitical, probably voiced her opinion where it counted. At the ballot box. Some people just dont get into arguing about politics or religion.
I enjoy reading opinions and gaining knowledge to form my own opinions on subjects. I dont like arguing politics or religion. Hell, I dont like arguing at all. I will if necessary and Im really good at it...lol..but its draining and I dislike being drained.
I like a full cup of happy.

Ive never heard that name before. Cristobal is Spanish for Christ-Bearer. I learned something new. Cool.
Hopefully that tropical storm moves quickly through the gulf. Are they saying it may reach hurricane strength?

Good morning fans of Fri. Gotta take a little dog to the vet today... to be worked into their schedule. Which means a long wait. She has a prob with her back feet (Maybe an ingrown nail?) And has been in a lot of pain, not acting like her usual self. Had an appt for next Fri, but she needs care now. She's a little rat terrier and it's so unusual not to see her bouncing around like a maniac. :(

    More coffee please...
