    Staying healthy so far, thanks. Was surprised to hear you are back at the newspaper. But with things as they are, we do what we gotta do.

    Yeah the other job didnt work out cut me loose at 87 days. Right before I was to make the 90. Then the Wuhu struck and they had to lay off all kinds of people. My boss at the newspaper jumped Right on getting me back. Gave me a puter to work at home if needed during the day. Basically Friday and Saturday. Still stuck on nights for the rest of the week tho. A Lil more money.

    Have you tried the other place today?

    I was checking out the Almanac predictions for this winter. Seems a large part of the country is in for a snowy winter.

    I'll admit to typing a long, lengthy response to a post, quite often involving words not to be used in mixed company, reread it, decide it's not worth getting dinged for, and delete it.

    Yep for once glad Im not there. My sil in Kemah is staying in a motel further inland but her daughter is a nurse and will be riding it out at the hospital. Scary stuff... esp this yr.
