So... Did the Democratic Party learn anything? Did the Republicans?

The party put its fingers on the scales to get Hillary in over Sanders, but suffered a revolt over it. They seemed to have learned their lesson and there was no sign of intercession to get Biden over Sanders. I don't know whether Sanders would have beaten Trump. Sanders supporters came out in force to support Biden. Would Biden supporters have come out in force to support Sanders? Maybe.

The party is going to have to work hard to get different factions to support compromise candidates. It worked in 2020, but that was a special year.

 

I'm not so sure. The timing seemed a little suspect to me at the end there with Biden and Bernie. Pete, Klobuchar, etc all dropping out at the opportune time and Warren not. It definitely isn't as clearly so as what happened with Hillary, and I don't know for sure anything suspect happened vs Biden, but it does look suspicious to me.

I have no idea, but it would have been absolutely fascinating to see. I actually think the Democratic Party establishment feared a Bernie presidency more than a Trump 2nd term, so I doubt Biden and his supporters would have put in nearly as much effort for Bernie as Bernie and his supporters did for Biden.

 

Lots of people did. The public didn't accept it.

 

The law didn't accept it either. Neither did they who counted the ballots.
I have worked on electoral matters for about 20 years. I am quite impressed
at the thoroughness of counting. Everybody is double checking and watching
everyone else.
