The real question is what the required level of evidence will be. You should indeed be wary, because when a large segment of the population doesn't see something as a right, but rather as a privilege, it won't get treated like a right. My prediction, these "privileges" will be taken away for the slightest cause or flimsy reason. Remember, a lot of them don't really believe anyone should have those rights in the first place.
