Trump already reduced the ratio of Public Debt to GDP. Nearly doubled Obama's GDP growth while reducing the rate of increase in the National Debt.

The GOP is now a Keynesian party.

Neither party is Keynesian. Keynes never advocated for the level of spending and debt the US currently owns.

Keynes stated that in an economic downturn, the govt should cut taxes, cut regulations, and deficit spend to spur the economy. When the economy recovered, then the govt should return the regulations and taxes to appropriate levels and pay off the deficit.

He did not advocate for constant debt and deficit.

That won votes for the Democrats, and keeps winning votes for the Democrats. You put a perjuring predator on the court, and set new standards for vile behavior while doing so. Democrats will make hay of that for years.

Now the economy is not good news for the Trump team. That's why the Democrats are mainly running on the economy, and getting great results. Healthcare is the big one. Most everyone sees their healthcare costs soaring because of Trump policies. They also see that they're working two jobs and making less. The tax cuts for the rich are wildly unpopular.

So, Republicans are losing on Kav and the economy, and now the violence thing won't help. No wonder the Republicans have chosen to run almost entirely on xenophobia. It's not like they can run on actual issues.

By 2020, the Trump recession. Not a huge recession, but it will be there. So many vulnerable GOP senators in 2020.

And Democrats are crushing it in Florida. Without a Republican gov to put vote suppression in overdrive there, Florida is blue. Several swing states are seeing red-to-blue shifts, so the Republican voter suppression tactics in those states will also be history. And without that kind of cheating, what hope does the GOP have?
