    At $22,119 per year (Prison spending in 2015), Utah might easily spend $500k locking up the "human scum" for life. Is that a smart way to spend money?

    I tend to agree, but I never staged or supported street demonstrations when organizing opposition to government actions. It's a lot more work to figure out ways to provide visual media with something entertaining to put on tv, but it can be done.

    BLM are organizers and the vast majority of demonstrators are not involved with the organization, including the looters and arsonists who show up.

    It depends on their reaction when the violence breaks out. If they participate in the violence/riot they should be arrested if not then they haven't done anything illegal. It would probably be best if they just dispersed if told to by the police and didn't become an obstruction to law enforcement while they did their job to quell the violence. Obstruction is against the law.

    I said peaceful demonstrations. BLM organized hundreds of demonstrations and only a few turned violent.
    Yes, because these pictures don't address the issue.

    Should we arrest and prosecute Trump supporters who demonstrated against government COVID-19 measures?
