    So I'm learning how to song write.
    I'm learning root notes and keys.
    All I know is, from what I've learned these past two days is;
    That no one owns the royalty rights on a chord progression, which has helped me a lot.
    To set our minds at ease, they showed this;

    For myself I always wrote the tune first and created lyrics based on how it made me feel, unless I was writing to lyrics which was never as much fun.

    I can play guitar but only kinda sort of.

    I can YouTube a song and learn how to play it note for note and do it perfectly but I can't pick up a guitar and write my own song.

    I don't even know how to tune a guitar.

    I can pretty much play the solo to Stairway to Heaven though.
