    News from this story on TV has police dressed in riot gear in riot vans racing to poling stations in Catalan this morning to blockade a referendum vote.

    If Catalonia vote for Independence from Spain, I don't think Spain will comply or could comply without leaving the EU.

    UK is way more free and independent than Catalonia is today.
    The Scottish Referendum, the EU Referendum, both of these didn't have to put up with somebody like Madrid saying these couldn't happen.

    Saw this earlier. A mistake on Spain's part. It turns them into victims and makes the government look like they are heavy handed and worthy of being cast aside. "Have your vote, but it ain't going to change a thing" is better than what they are doing today.

    I normally support any native indigenous ethnic group who wants to excercize self determination. I would support the Catalonians but Putin supports the Catalonian " independence" push. Why does that KGB Scum Turd Putin support Catalonian indepedence? It would hurt the EU that's why.
    You notice that Putin does not support Chechen independence !!

    Bottom line is that if Putin is for it it is bad.

    The EU aren't holy and Putin knows it, look at Ukraine.

    He/@cerberus regards an actress as a somebody of wealth because she's the Prince's girlfriend then says they should dress better because of a perceived combined wealth. This user seems to be of working class or lower and is rather hot headed so, sure, they can want Putin all they want, but for someone to regard an actress as being wealthy because they're on TV, is kinda funny.
    I bet there are people working in business more powerful than that actress the Prince is going steady with.
    This Putin lover probably votes UKIP even though the Tory's got us out of Europe.

    Ukraine is not Russian . Ukraine existed as the Kivyan-Rus before Russia or better said Moskailshchina existed.

    Ukraine is not part of the EU, not yet at least.
