'Staggering numbers': Early voting is breaking records in 2020

I am gonna just tuck this away for November 4th so I can say "told ya so". I have a folder full of posts like that. It's gonna be fun. I am gonna be a busy guy.

 

58.6 million so far. This time in 2016, only 29 million had voted.

We will probably see about 240,000,000 votes for this presidential election and the liberals will say no voter fraud if they win and the conservatives probably wouldn't be much different if they were on the winning end of the equation.

That's already 44% of the total of 2016. If it keeps going at that rate, 2/3 of the vote may already have been cast before Nov. 3rd.

 

You realize that makes no sense. If the states can define who can own or carry a weapon and if the decision is dependent on ones connections then the rights of everyone deprived of the permits have indeed been infringed.

How many ballots have been returned is far less important than ballots for who. Unless we can figure that out, location by location, we are simply guessing...I wonder how many of those millions of ballots will be junked do to errors in the ballot?

The 2A very clearly states that a person has the right to bear arms. It doesn't say you must be a member of a militia to do so. It does not say that someone can tell you when and if you can bear arms.

 

Because Trump, fearful of looking bad, sabotaged those efforts. Hijacking PPE shipments, forcing the CDC to misreport, issuing legal challenges to lockdowns and mask mandates, taking no unified Fed action allowing less combatant states to fester, allowing infected to cross borders into more component states that were actually trying to stop it. That it took these acts of sabotage to minimize gains (which happened anyway relative to the rest of the nation) makes my point. This is 100% on Trump.

I get out plenty and see the devastation this idiot has brought to America 1st hand. the only reason **** hasn't truly hit the fan is becuase of unemployment checks and states are running out of money.

"A well regulated Militia..." It's about militias. They were worried people in urban areas could get shut out, making the militias rural, and only interested in rural concerns. To be honest, 2A is obsolete.

No. It's about people having the right to own guns because they may need to form a citizen's militia to fend off foreign or domestic enemies or governments in the same way the people of the colonies fought off the British troops and local guards. The whole point of it was to prevent our government from confiscating weapons from the people, because taking away guns is a hallmark of tyranny and oppression. The sentiment rings true throughout history. It wasn't until Jews were starving in a Warsaw Ghetto before they realized, "damn... we should've had some guns."

 

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.
