Stefan Halper has been identified and confirmed as the intelligence informant used by President Obama’s CIA and FBI to engage in contact with low level Trump campaign officials during their efforts to conduct a counterintelligence operation against the candidate. The joint CIA and FBI operation was codenamed “Crossfire Hurricane“.
Rather ironically, five days before the 2016 election intelligence agent provocateur Stefan Halper gave an interview to Sputnik News where he outlined his agenda; in hindsight the aggregate agenda of the Obama administration:
“I believe [Hillary] Clinton would be best for US-UK relations and for relations with the European Union. Clinton is well-known, deeply experienced and predictable. US-UK relations will remain steady regardless of the winner although Clinton will be less disruptive over time.” ~ Stefan Halper

I’m trying to keep an open mind on Halper, but I’m not feeling very trusting about someone who thought Hillary would be a better president. Best thought would be he’s a Never-Trumper who had experience in this type of thing and wanted a last fling behind the scenes before the curtain on his show came down.
Then again, Halper’s own words show that he is a standing member of the “Insider Club” and quite mediocre at the same time, which should not come as a surprise. Our pseudo-meritocratic elite have consistently failed over the last five plus decades. Technocracy is a consistent failure. And the ideological predilections of elite technocrats of globalism, corporatism, while Cultural Marxism spur them to stubbornly, violently cling to failing ideas and projects, which nevertheless make them powerful and filthy rich.
Take this seditious conspiracy Operation Crossfire Hurricane which was poorly conceived and executed. The mains reasons it didn’t implode sooner was:
    1. the conspirators could rely on slavish MSM alignment/corruption,
    2. The conspirators could hide their bumbling behind “national security” secrecy,
    3. They have massive inherited financial, institutional, power resources.
These overrated Progressive Cultural Marxist Socialists could not have pulled off 9/11. Look at how poorly they executed this conspiracy, which was orders of magnitude more straightforward involving far fewer variables compared to what it would have taken to orchestrate 9/11.
I agree that most of these conspirators (Obama et al.) belong in jail, or worse, but we won’t really drain the swamp until we burst the image of their ideas and “class” in the mind of the general public – i.e., a paradigm shift. President Trump is a gift from God in that endeavor, but the war has just begun.
Those of us who have worked in corporate business institutions have seen incompetence rewarded time and again as connections to the establishment outweighed effectiveness and successful management. Based on outside observation, it appears this definitely goes on in government at level higher than can barely be imagined.
