This is an issue that is critically important for all Americans to understand.

President Lincoln saved taxpayers four billion dollars...how can we do this in 2013?
I was given a copy of this article in 1994.

After reading this article those lectures from Economics 101, 212 and Economic History sure took on a whole new level of importance.

    Melvin Sickler:
OK, so how do we apply this information in 2013 without scaring the guys on Wallstreet, who have a tendency to go out on their balconies and jump, if investors get scared....which actually could happen even if government did something intelligent!!!!!???????

Ten years ago I would have been inclined to agree with Steven D. Kelly that the Federal Reserve System must go............... but I have been thinking and thinking about how to do this in such a way that upheaval is kept to an absolute minimum in the lives of ordinary Americans and I now lean heavily toward a significantly different approach.

Now I believe that it is best to pretty much ignore the Federal Reserve System......... and simply introduce some competition to it.... and create a second form of money that does not put us into a situation of unrepayable debt and gradually promote this other greatly improved currency until the dollar becomes less necessary over perhaps five or ten decades?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/econo...-north-american-economy-could-organizing.html
Volunteerism is over twenty percent of North American economy… could organizing it...
back up…… stabilize…. insure… the value of the USA dollar?

Ithaca, New York has one of the simplest and easily understood measuring instruments for economic activity imaginable.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithaca_Hours
Is it theoretically possible for a group of people to accomplish a much greater organization of volunteerism through a database that would give North America a secondary economy that we could fall back on….. just in case?

Please notice how successful the Worgl, Austria local money experiment was in the USA during the Great Depression.

From what I have read I think that he is onto something important with that idea.

One thing I know for sure is that I am not getting into a swimming pool that hasn't been chlorinated AND fluoridated.

I believe that he is correct about this......... but........... he needs to come up with a plan to phase them out fradually and replace them with a better product because apparently there are about 1.2 billion rather poor people on earth who depend on GMO's for their very survival.

But this is an extremely important issue and has the potential to be a catalyst in the eventual devaluation of the USA dollar that many experts and influential people say is getting closer all the time.

Could a Utah State Dollar save the USA Dollar?
Have you seen any of the following films:

    1. The Future of Food
    2. Food Inc
    3. The World According to Monsanto.

If so..... then you know that the USA dollar to some degree is linked to and backed up by a plan to control the world's production of food in such a way that could eventually produce global famine.

You are absolutely right...very interesting agenda. Fluoride must be removed from our water supply - it dumb downs people in numerous scientific studies. Why is it in there, if some ill meaning small group of super rich are trying to dumb down America, so that we don't wake up to see all their money making schemes? Hitler used it in concentration camps for G--- sake, and we are doing the same! The rational is that it's necessary for the teeth...come now, just how long does the water stay in contact with teeth as it goes down, and what about all the sensitive organs and arteries it eats up? It is a very powerful chemical that eats through the metal of the carrying truck ! Can you imagine what it does to our inside? I have been using "Reverse Osmosis" water filter system to combat this, and I tell all who would listen. There are small communities in US springing up that have done away with Fluoride and it's about time that this is done on a national scale, to the benefit of all of our citizens health and intellectual awakening.
Just google for the subject and you will see what I mean - many doctors are warning us against it!

That sounds really outstanding but why not make sure by doubling the chlorination and brushing your teeth and swallowing the toothpaste for that extra fluoride. But a question though, where do you find a pool that has been fluoridated as that is a toxic chemical that requires a special license to handle.

Cocoanut oil and baking soda for the second brushing...... is better!

    - - - Updated - - -

It is kind of obvious...... if 1.2 billion people depend on GMO crops for their very survival......... it will take more than one growing season to break away from them without causing millions of unnecessary deaths. The statistic of 1.2 billion came from an exceptionally well informed poster in this forum.

He also commented on the implications of climate change here in post # 4....

Not the same result, I was being facetious. Both chlorine and fluoride are toxic chemicals.

Source unimportant as it is the conclusion that is at issue. Accepting your number for the sake of discussion, 1.2 billion people are force fed GMO crops each year and that could instantly be converted to non-GMO with no consequence other that those people's health which would be for the better. No it would not take more than one growing season just the use of non-GMO seed.

I honestly hope that you are correct about this..... but apparently this was mostly GMO's designed to grow under significantly drier than normal conditions. I got the impression that the author meant that the ordinary seeds could not survive in those particular areas.

Frankly though...... once we address the problems in central banking policy...... it would be amazing what could be accomplished and how quickly it could perhaps be done.

The Sahara Forest Project...and saving New Orleans and Florida from rising oceans!
Did you know that there is an Islamic prophecy that the Islamic desert regions would be turned green in the latter days?????

This topic is of special interest to me because I live about a hundred miles from the Bay of Fundy. I live five kms from the ocean on the eastern part of Nova Scotia. In my area the difference between low tide to high tide is about one meter! The land form of the Bay of Fundy has a funnelling effect on tidal waters and so parts of the Fundy have a difference of fifteen to seventeen meters between low to high tide!

The question on my mind would be if ocean levels were to rise about thirty centimeters in my part of Nova Scotia, would they rise by four or five meters along parts of the Fundy????

There are 143,000 acres of farmland taken back from the Fundy by dikes that are probably in the position of the proverbial canary in a coal mine in relation to rising ocean levels!

Every cubic meter of H2O added to the water table of nations in the Middle EAst will NOT be on top of New Orleans, Florida, Holland, Bangladesh or those 143,000 acres along the Fundy!!!!!

I felt a huge sense of relief when I first heard about The Sahara Forest Project!

Wow, that's swinging a little wide of the target isn't it? This is about political campaigns and Kelly's platform which one item was banning GMO and another was banning fluoridation, nothing about forests or rising waters.

I put the basic idea in front of him several days ago.

He is still responding to my messages............ so I am kind of thinking that he is processing how to fit all of this in with the rest of his quite extensive platform.

There is an indirect connection though.

If we happen to move away from the production of (for example) one million metric tonnes of GMO corn....... but we perhaps put one hundred million tonnes of cereal hemp on the market at the same time..... then we could well have no direct cases of starvation caused by the shift.

What exactly are we going to grow in those solar powered greenhouses, if we want to expand them so rapidly that they negate the danger from the cracking and sliding of the Greenland Ice Pack and the West Antarctic Ice Sheet???

    http://saharaforestproject.com/projects/qatar.html

    Perhaps???
    http://phoenixtears.ca/what-it-does-and-how-it-works/

If so then what do we do with the byproducts and the stock of the plants???

The list is all over the place, (left, right and someplace out in space), and mostly about ending this or that. While I do agree with some there are other ideas that are just nuts, especially when they do not involve a Fix or Replacement. That said, he does not have even a minuet chance of being elected so hence it is all speculation.
